Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Isaac Wankerl (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and William Stone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wankerl comes to the cage accompanied by Voodoo Chile by Jimi Hendrix. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
8 - 7 - 0, fighting out of New York, Isaac Wankerl! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, William Stone! The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, Alyssa Summers and David Schapiro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wankerl misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. A combination from Stone does no damage. Wankerl rushes Stone and presses him up against the cage. Wankerl is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Stone pulls him back up using the underhooks. Wankerl wants a takedown.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Isaac Wankerl. That's going to take a lot out of him. Wankerl is trying to drag Stone to the mat but Stone just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. Wankerl fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Stone stops a takedown attempt from Wankerl.
Wankerl has Stone pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Wankerl pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Stone tumbling to the mat - Wankerl dives into Stone's guard. Wankerl wants to pass the guard but Stone is keeping the position. Stone is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
That's one minute gone in the round. Stone has Wankerl pulled in close to control his posture. Stone trying to keep a closed guard but Wankerl is proving a slippery customer.
Wankerl looking to pass the guard. Stone wants to control but Wankerl passes easily into half guard.
Wankerl working Stone over with strikes. Wankerl is working for a submission of some sort.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Stone manages to get to full guard.
Wankerl is breathing heavily. Wankerl drops back, looking for a kneebar! Stone looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Stone looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Stone! The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Wankerl is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Stone trying to control the position but Wankerl is working away.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Stone cracks Wankerl with a big right hand but Wankerl just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Wankerl is looking for a sweep. Stone tries for a kimura but Wankerl is defending well. Stone thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Stone tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Stone has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Stone goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Wankerl has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Stone but great work by Wankerl. Stone tries to improve position but can't.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Wankerl advances to mount. Wankerl goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Stone is on top in guard.
Stone drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Stone jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Wankerl working a defensive guard here.
Stone throws a big right hand that misses. Stone chips away with some ground and pound. Stone stands up over Wankerl, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Stone cracks Wankerl with a solid left hand. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
William Stone dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Stone shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Wankerl is trying to defend but Stone finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Stone is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Wankerl defends it well. Wankerl is defending against the submission attempts here by Stone.
Stone is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Wankerl wants to get back to full guard. Wankerl looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Wankerl is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
That's one minute gone in the round. Stone is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Stone looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Stone is looking for a kimura but Wankerl is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Stone to get the leverage. Wankerl wants to get back to full guard. Stone seems to be working for a kimura but Wankerl defends the submission attempt. Wankerl is looking to control Stone's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Wankerl avoid being mounted?
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Stone landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. Wankerl actively working from the bottom here. Stone is trying to control. Wankerl wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Stone works his foot free and advances to mount. Stone is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Wankerl can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Stone working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet. Stone working for a guillotine from mount but Wankerl is in no mood to give up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Wankerl gets back to half guard. Stone seems to be working for a kimura but Wankerl defends the submission attempt. Stone is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Wankerl avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Stone. Stone prevents Wankerl from improving his position. Wankerl is staying active underneath Stone, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Wankerl is defending against the submission attempts here by Stone.
Wankerl kicks off Stone and gets to his feet. Stone takes the fight into the clinch. Wankerl looking for a takedown. Wankerl's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button! Wankerl goes for a takedown in the clinch but Stone prevents it.
Stone lands a nice elbow from the clinch. Stone lands with a good tight uppercut to the head. Wankerl is pressed up against the cage. Stone has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Wankerl down to the mat. Wankerl avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Stone tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Wankerl paws at him with a jab and circles away. Stone fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Stone fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Wankerl is out of range. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
William Stone showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!
Wankerl misses with a takedown and Stone holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Stone has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Wankerl avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Wankerl blocks an uppercut.

Stone lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Wankerl or not. Stone lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Stone struggles to land a body shot inside as Wankerl controls his hands.
Stone is pressed up against the cage. Wankerl has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Stone down to the mat. Stone avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. William Stone is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Wankerl takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Wankerl doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Stone moves into range and clinches up with Wankerl. Stone escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Stone, as that shot connected.
Stone bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Stone tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Wankerl is trying to get back to half guard. Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Stone looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Stone is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Wankerl knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Stone is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Wankerl has escaped the position, nice work there.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Wankerl is trying to control Stone's posture but Stone avoids it. Stone tries for a kimura but Wankerl is defending well. Wankerl sneaks out the side door and pushes Stone away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape. Wankerl fails with the takedown and Stone counters with a takedown into side control. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Isaac Wankerl. That's going to take a lot out of him. Wankerl manages to get one leg in to regain half guard. Wankerl gets full guard. Wankerl has his foot on Stone's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Stone works his way back into a safe position though. Stone trying to control but Wankerl is working from the bottom.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Stone scoring with punches to the head and body. Stone working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Stone missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Stone stands up over Wankerl, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Stone chips away with some ground and pound. Wankerl has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Stone can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Wankerl working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Stone doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Stone manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Stone wants to control from the top but Wankerl keeps moving. William Stone has got the better of the ground game so far.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Wankerl looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Wankerl wants to sweep but no luck. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Wankerl is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Stone defends well. Stone drops back looking for a leg! Wankerl is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Wankerl manages to kick Stone off! Stone jumps back into Wankerl's guard. Stone throwing strikes but missing. Isaac Wankerl has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! William Stone is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Wankerl missing with a left hand there. Stone was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
And that's the end of the fight! William Stone comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Stone has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
