Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Frank Marciano!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Derrel Grenier!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Robert Twigg and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Marciano fails to land with a series of punches.
Grenier feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Grenier has gone for a leg lock! Marciano slips out almost immediately though and dives into Grenier's guard.
Marciano is looking to stand up but Grenier won't let him.
Grenier is looking for a triangle but Marciano pushes his legs off easily.
Grenier preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Grenier has his foot on Marciano's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Marciano works his way back into a safe position though.
Grenier looks gassed!
Marciano drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Marciano jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Marciano gets to his feet. Grenier looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Marciano throws a right and a left that both miss.
A cross from Marciano lands.
Grenier takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.
Marciano fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Grenier blocks a head kick by Marciano.
Marciano lands with a nice combination. Grenier backs away looking to recover.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Marciano throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Marciano lands with a right that hurts Grenier. Grenier looks to clinch but Marciano throws a short knee that drops Grenier. This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:11 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punch and Knee). Frank Marciano!
