The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Cimientos rushes Reaper and presses him up against the cage.

Cimientos escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Cimientos is looking to take a break and control but Reaper is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Reaper seems a little lost for a moment, as Cimientos dominates the positioning.

Cimientos decides to stand up, so the ref orders Reaper to his feet.
Cimientos clobbers Reaper with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Reaper swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.

Cimientos shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Reaper but Reaper pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Reaper swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Cimientos shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Reaper's guard.
Reaper pulls Cimientos in to control the position.

Cimientos has closed the distance and engaged Reaper in a clinch.

Reaper escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Cimientos throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.

Cimientos looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Reaper!
Reaper keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Cimientos lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.

Cimientos is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Reaper is surviving well by controlling Cimientos's body position as best he can.
Reaper is in a horrible position here. Cimientos smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Reaper is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Cimientos has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Reaper's face.
Cimientos lands a big elbow.
Cimientos looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.
Cimientos has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
