Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Buhawi Jack (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kabir Mehra (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jack's entrance music is enter sandman. A fine choice. Mehra comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Nature kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Buhawi Jack! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Kabir Mehra! The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Hirohito Nitta and Yuuki Gou.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jack loads up on a big right hand but Mehra slips the punch. Jack looks to score with a jab to the body but Mehra is just out of range. Mehra tries to clinch up but Jack circles away and keeps his distance. A swing and a miss from Jack. Jack changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Mehra tries to avoid it but Jack manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Mehra to the ground. Mehra escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Jack tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Mehra swivels and escapes. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Jack shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Buhawi Jack. That's going to take a lot out of him. Mehra doesn't manage to clinch there - Jack circles away.
Mehra tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Jack paws at him with a jab and circles away.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mehra slips a straight right by Jack. Jack shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Mehra as he avoids it easily. Jack shoots in but no luck this time. Nice sprawl there from Mehra as Jack shoots in. Mehra doesn't manage to clinch there - Jack circles away.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. The fight stays on the outside here - Mehra looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Jack throws a sloppy head kick and Mehra moves out of range easily. Kabir Mehra is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Jack misses with an uppercut. Mehra saw that one coming. Mehra tries to clinch but Jack is having none of it. Mehra avoids a punch combination nicely.

Mehra defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Jack. Buhawi Jack seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Jack throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Mehra instigates a clinch. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Jack tries to clinch but Mehra moves away and Mehra counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Mehra. Mehra slows down the pace here.

Jack is trying to break the clinch but Mehra is controlling him. The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Mehra takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life. Jack can't get the takedown.

That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Jack tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Mehra just stands there and leans against the cage. Mehra controlling the action here for a moment.

Mehra will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Jack up against the cage. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Kabir Mehra showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Jack shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Mehra is trying to defend but Jack finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Jack frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Jack looking to ground and pound but Mehra is blocking nicely.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jack moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Mehra has worked his arm free - good work by Mehra!
Jack thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Jack is trying to get an arm triangle but Mehra is defending well. Jack goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Mehra has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Jack but great work by Mehra.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Mehra stands up and we're back to a striking position. Jack circles away from the clinch attempt and Jack counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Jack stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Mehra swivels though and keeps the full guard. Jack wants to control from the top but Mehra keeps moving. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Mehra can do anything to dispel that myth.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Jack drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Mehra manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Jack has Mehra in his guard. Mehra won't allow Jack to get back to his feet. Buhawi Jack has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Jack looking for subs off his back but Mehra has passed one foot through into half guard.
Jack is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
And that's the end of the fight! Buhawi Jack showed his dominance in that final round. I think Mehra has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
