Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Dexter Redshaw (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chad Ngaha (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Redshaw comes to the cage accompanied by Maksim - Flight of the Bumblebee. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Chad Ngaha! The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, Summer Carpenter and Bruno Hogan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Redshaw misses with a low kick. Ngaha drives through with a takedown into guard. Ngaha thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Redshaw is trying to keep Ngaha in close.
Redshaw pulls Ngaha in close to prevent any damage. Ngaha drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Ngaha jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Ngaha trying to control but Redshaw is working from the bottom. Redshaw is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Ngaha drops back looking for a leg! Redshaw is in trouble here! The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Redshaw throws a leg kick that misses. Redshaw throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land. Redshaw throws a low kick but Ngaha avoids it. Ngaha checks a low kick from Redshaw. Redshaw stuffs the takedown attempt from Ngaha. Ngaha gets slowly back to his feet. Ngaha gets caught flat footed, as Redshaw shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Ngaha looks gassed! Ngaha avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Redshaw missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Redshaw throws a strike but Ngaha rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Redshaw on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Redshaw tries to get out of the position. Redshaw is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Redshaw managing to control the position. Redshaw looking to hit a scissor sweep but Ngaha is one step ahead there. Redshaw looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Redshaw is trying to control the position from the bottom.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Redshaw is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. Ngaha thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Ngaha has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Redshaw is working away from the top position though. Redshaw winds up and cracks Ngaha with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Redshaw looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Ngaha with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Ngaha takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Ngaha looking for submissions from an awkward position here.
