Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 7 - 0, fighting out of New York, Marc Callaway!
The judges for this bout are Joseph Jones, Columbo Gatti and Eddie Farnsworth.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Callaway looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Battaglia closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Callaway breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Callaway shoots for a takedown but Battaglia saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Battaglia could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Callaway looks gassed!
Battaglia closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Callaway has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Battaglia can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
