Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jensen Dayley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Danny Mera (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dayley's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Aint No Sunshine - DMX. Mera comes into a darkened arena with his song building. The Automatic - Monster kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Jensen Dayley! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Danny Mera! The judges for this bout are Konstantin Menshow, Igor Prikhodko and Aleksei Zolotukhin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dayley gets the takedown into side control. Dayley looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this! Mera tries to improve position but can't. Mera really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Dayley. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Mera is trying to control Dayley's posture but Dayley avoids it. Mera is pushing Dayley's head away, looking to escape. Dayley manages to hold on to the position though. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Mera is trying to get back to half guard. Mera is trying to control Dayley's posture but Dayley avoids it. Mera is trying to avoid being dragged into an even worse position than he's already in but Dayley is staying active. Mera trying to remain calm as Dayley controls from the top position.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Mera clinches. Mera manages to break the clinch.
Mera throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Dayley really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mera throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Mera just misses with a punch to the body.
Dayley is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Mera digs a good body shot into Dayley's ribs. Nice cross by Mera. The fight moves into the clinch position. Mera manages to break the clinch.
Dayley dives in and grabs Mera's left leg, looking for a takedown. Mera pushes down on Dayley's head and hops out. Dayley avoids the body shot from Mera.

Dayley moves out of range as Mera throws a body kick.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Mera lands a glancing blow to the side of Dayley's head. Mera looks to land a combination but Dayley avoids it well. Dayley slips a jab from Mera. A jab from Mera finds it's way through Dayley's defenses. Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Mera, as that shot connected.
Mera instigates a clinch. Mera breaks from the clinch.
Dayley shoots in for a takedown but Mera shows good takedown defense. Mera rushes Dayley and presses him up against the cage. Mera breaks from the clinch.
Dayley circles away from the clinch attempt.
Mera just misses with a punch to the body.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Dayley avoids the body shot from Mera.
Dayley closes the distance looking to clinch and Mera counters with a head kick. Mera fails with an attempt to clinch.
Mera lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Dayley backs up against the cage.
Mera throws the kick towards the body but Dayley avoids it. Mera lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Dayley circles away quickly and effectively. Mera dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Mera throws a body kick but he wasn't in range. Mera looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it. Dayley doesn't manage to clinch there - Mera circles away.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Mera feints and then cracks Dayley's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Dayley down. Dayley tries for a takedown but Mera circles away easily and Mera moves into the clinch. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jensen Dayley. That's going to take a lot out of him. Mera breaks the clinch.

Mera throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Danny Mera is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Mera fails to land with a series of punches.
The fight stays on the outside here - Dayley looks like he's thinking about clinching though. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Mera scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. Mera lands with a hook. Dayley tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Danny Mera dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
A shot to de liver by Mera. Beautiful body shot. Dayley tries to clinch but Mera is having none of it. Mera scores with a jab. Dayley acknowledges it with a nod of the head. A head kick from Mera lands but Dayley takes it in his stride. Mera scores with a push kick. Mera misses with a head kick.
Dayley has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Mera. Donk. Mera catches Dayley right on the button with a cross. Mera pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Mera takes a swing at Dayley's ribcage but misses. Mera fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Mera moves into range and clinches up with Dayley. Mera manages to break the clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mera swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Horrible takedown by Dayley or perhaps it was just good defense by Mera which made him look bad. Dayley gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Mera. Mera digs a good body shot into Dayley's ribs. Danny Mera seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Mera moves into the clinch. Mera breaks the clinch.
Mera scores with a jab to the body. Mera is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Dayley rather than just go for the knockout. Mera throws a body punch but Dayley moves out of range. Mera cracks the inside of Dayley's front leg. Mera lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. Mera ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Mera with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.

Dayley closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. Mera fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Dayley looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Mera misses with a wild combination.
A head kick misses from Mera. Dayley moves out of range of the leg kick from Mera. Mera scores with a body shot.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Mera. Mera gets a clinch. Mera escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Mera throws the left hand but Dayley avoids the punch easily. Dayley has a takedown stuffed. Mera with a jab. Mera throws a head kick but Dayley moves out of range.
Mera takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Jensen Dayley is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Mera misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Mera paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. Dayley misses with a takedown and Mera counters with a left to the body. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jensen Dayley. That's going to take a lot out of him. Mera throws a head kick that misses. The fighters circle momentarily. Mera darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Mera misses with a low kick. Mera misses with an uppercut. Dayley saw that one coming. Dayley fails with an attempt to clinch.
Mera takes a swing at Dayley's ribcage but misses. Dayley fails with a takedown attempt. Dayley bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Dayley takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Mera just misses with a punch to the body.

Danny Mera showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!
Mera throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Mera misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Dayley.
Mera scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Dayley doesn't seem bothered though. Dayley fails to land the takedown. Mera punishes Dayley's body with a nice straight punch. Dayley on the wrong end of a nice hook. Mera throws a head kick that misses and Dayley counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Dayley prevents Mera from getting back to his feet. Dayley trying to control the position from guard on top but Mera is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Dayley is looking to stand up but Mera won't let him. Dayley won't allow Mera to get back to his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mera pulls Dayley in close to prevent any damage. Dayley gets to his feet - Mera follows without any prompting. Dayley avoids a punch combination nicely.
Mera misses with a straight left. Mera tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Dayley was well out of range. Poor timing from Mera. Mera throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Dayley. Mera tries to clinch up but Dayley circles away and keeps his distance. Dayley looks for a takedown but Mera sprawls well. Mera connects with a body shot.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. A nice leg kick lands there from Dayley. Mera thumps Dayley with a low kick. Mera lands a jab to the nose. Dayley shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Mera sprawls well. Mera wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Dayley gets slowly back to his feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jensen Dayley. That's going to take a lot out of him. Dayley on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Mera tries to score with a low kick but Dayley moves his leg out of the way. Dayley closes the distance and clinches up with Mera, looking for a takedown. Dayley pushes Mera against the cage but Mera circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Jab, jab by Mera - just one landing. Mera lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Dayley takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.

Dayley tries for a takedown but Mera circles away easily and Mera counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Good leg kick by Dayley there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Mera connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Mera throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Dayley. Mera throws a head kick but Dayley moves out of range.
Dayley looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that. Mera clinches up with Dayley and pushes him back against the cage. Mera manages to break the clinch.

Mera tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Dayley counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Mera is staying active underneath Dayley, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Dayley will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Mera is trying to get back to full guard. Mera on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. Dayley throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Mera wants to get back to full guard. Mera wants to control but Dayley is keeping busy.
Danny Mera is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Mera misses with a combination
and Dayley counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Jensen Dayley has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Dayley working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Mera's head.
And that's the end of the fight! Jensen Dayley showed his dominance in that final round. I think Mera has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
