PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jensen Dayley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Danny Mera (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dayley's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Aint No Sunshine - DMX. Mera comes into a darkened arena with his song building. The Automatic - Monster kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Dayley gets the takedown into side control.

Mera tries to improve position but can't.
Mera really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Dayley. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Mera is trying to control Dayley's posture but Dayley avoids it.
Mera is pushing Dayley's head away, looking to escape. Dayley manages to hold on to the position though.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Mera feints and then cracks Dayley's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Dayley down.

Dayley looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that.

Mera is staying active underneath Dayley, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Dayley will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
