Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between David Watson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and koln poir (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys are coming into the fight with injuries so let's see if that has a bearing on the fight. koln poir will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, David Watson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 5 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, koln poir! The judges for this bout are Sergei Dronov, Aleksandr Martynov and Igor Prikhodko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! poir tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. poir looks gassed! Watson has closed the distance and engaged poir in a clinch.
Watson decides to pull guard. Watson working for a triangle but poir defends it easily.
Watson looking for a guillotine here but poir defends easily.
Watson is pulling down on poir's head. It's preventing any offense from poir, at least for the moment. Watson will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
That's one minute gone in the round. poir got a little sloppy there for a moment and Watson has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, poir has managed to get both his arms back between Watson's legs - danger averted. Watson working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. poir doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. poir manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. poir wants to control from the top but Watson keeps moving.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Watson isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. poir stacks Watson on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by poir! Watson is trying to control poir's posture but poir avoids it. Watson stuck in half guard on the bottom here. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Watson is trying to control poir's posture but poir avoids it. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Watson manages to work his way to half guard, despite poir's best efforts. poir trying to control the action but Watson is working from the bottom. Watson is pressing down on poir's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. poir really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Watson. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. poir looking to pass the guard. Watson looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it. poir trying to control the position from guard on top but Watson is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Watson had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. poir defends it easily. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. poir trying to control but Watson is working from the bottom. Watson looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Watson is looking for a triangle but poir pushes his legs off easily.

David Watson dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
poir shoots for a takedown but Watson saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Watson shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in poir's guard. Watson in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. poir is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Watson is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. poir working for a triangle but Watson defends it easily.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. poir keeping full guard, as Watson tries to pass.
That's one minute gone in the round. Watson is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. David Watson overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. poir keeping moving, preventing Watson from controlling successfully. poir is looking for a triangle here but Watson uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
Watson in side control, working for a kimura. He's got hold of an arm and he's torquing it... poir is tapping! That's the end of the fight!
