Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mitchell Harvin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chris Stone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Harvin comes into the arena with "Mouth For War" by Pantera blaring out of the sound system. Chris Stone has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Mitchell Harvin's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Mitchell Harvin! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Chris Stone! The judges for this bout are Bruno Lombardi, Anthony Taglia and Dean Styles.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Harvin misses with a body kick. Some wild striking there from Harvin.
Stone misses with a wild combination.
Harvin keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Stone. Stone feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Stone stops Harvin from standing up. Harvin is trying to control the position from the bottom.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Stone trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Stone stands up over Harvin, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Stone pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Harvin is keeping the position for now. Stone loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
That's one minute gone in the round. Stone works over Harvin with some ground and pound from guard. Stone looking to pass the guard. Harvin might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Stone controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Stone throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Harvin works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Stone postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Stone controls from within his opponent's guard. Harvin working a defensive guard here.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Harvin tries to bum rush Stone with a series of wild strikes but Stone uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Harvin looks to land a left hand but Stone moved out of range nicely. Stone misses with a hook. Stone will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Harvin throws a series of punches but Stone moves out of range. Harvin changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Stone tries to avoid it but Harvin manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Stone to the ground. Stone escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Stone scores with a takedown into Harvin's guard. Harvin knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Stone on the ground. Harvin keeping full guard, as Stone tries to pass. Harvin utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Stone scoring with some ground and pound. Stone wants to control from the top but Harvin keeps moving. Stone works over Harvin with some ground and pound from guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Stone postures up in Harvin's guard and throws a big left but Harvin blocks it. Stone won't allow Harvin to sweep him here. Stone is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Stone postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Stone is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Stone throws a big right hand that misses. Harvin working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Stone. Stone lands a couple of decent looking shots. Stone is pushing down on Harvin's leg trying to pass to half guard. Harvin is fighting to maintain full guard but Stone has managed to sneak the leg through. Stone is trying to control. Harvin wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Stone wants to free his trapped foot but Harvin is holding on for dear life with his legs.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Stone stops Harvin from getting back to his feet.

Harvin is breathing heavily. Harvin on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. Harvin wants to get back to full guard but Stone has mounted him! Stone prevents Harvin from getting the reversal. Stone connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
It looks like Mitchell Harvin has been cut. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. A nice elbow there by Stone. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Chris Stone dominated that round. The cut man is working on Mitchell Harvin's cut. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Mitchell Harvin's cut is getting worse. Harvin takes a swing at Stone's ribcage but misses. Harvin throws a nice looking combination but Stone bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Stone thows a body shot but no joy. Stone fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Harvin sprawls well initially but Stone persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Stone works his foot free and advances to mount. Stone working away from the top, dropping strikes.
Mitchell Harvin's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it. Stone punishing his opponent with strikes.
Jeez, Mitchell Harvin's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Mitchell Harvin's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
