Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Seth Wallace (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Garrett Greene (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Seth Wallace!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Garrett Greene!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Alan Glass and Cecil Peabody.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Greene misses with an uppercut.
Greene tries to clinch up but Wallace circles away and keeps his distance.
Wallace fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
A combination from Greene does no damage.
Wallace closes this distance looking for a takedown but Greene circles away.
Greene keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Seth Wallace. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Wallace shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Greene rushes Wallace and presses him up against the cage.

Greene breaks from the clinch.

Wallace closes the distance and clinches up with Greene, looking for a takedown. Wallace pushes Greene against the cage but Greene circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Wallace looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Greene is fending him off so far but Wallace persists. Nope, Greene circles away and we're back to standing.

Wallace on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Wallace fails to pull guard.

Greene breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Wallace shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Greene pinned against the cage. Greene gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Greene throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Wallace.
Greene throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Wallace slips a jab from Greene.
Wallace misses with a jab, cross combination.
Greene keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Wallace is breathing heavily.

Greene drives through with a takedown into guard.
Greene is pushing down on Wallace's leg trying to pass to half guard. Wallace is fighting to maintain full guard but Greene has managed to sneak the leg through.
Wallace really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Greene is working for a submission of some sort.
Wallace wants to get back to full guard.

Greene is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Wallace gets full guard.
Wallace manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Greene manages to get himself to full guard.
Wallace trying to control but Greene is working from the bottom.
Wallace looking to sit in guard and control but Greene gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Greene throws a big right hand that misses.

Wallace looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Greene passes into half guard.
Wallace wants to improve his position but Greene is controlling well.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Greene works his way into side control.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


Greene throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Wallace.
Wallace stuns Greene with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.

and Wallace counters with a three punch combo that has Greene backing up. Greene nods at Wallace to acknowledge the strikes.

Wallace wants to hold on but Greene pushes him away.
Wallace can't escape the position.
Wallace slips a leg in and gets back to half guard.

Garrett Greene showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!


Wallace shoots in but doesn't get the takedown

and Greene counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Greene.
Greene postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Wallace has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Greene is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Wallace.

Wallace wants to control but Greene postures up.

Greene is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Wallace has escaped the position, nice work there.

Greene looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Wallace with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Greene uses his free foot to push down on Wallace's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Wallace.

Well Greene has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
