Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rich Anderson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tito Sonnen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Anderson comes to the cage accompanied by Embrace Of The Endless Ocean. Sonnen has chosen Mosh by Eminem as his entrance music. On his way into the cage it seems that Rich Anderson has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Rich Anderson seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Rich Anderson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Tito Sonnen! The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Colin Fotheringham and James Atkins.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sonnen bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Anderson avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Sonnen. Sonnen scoring with punches and elbows. Anderson tries to bench press Sonnen off him but Sonnen keeps the position. Sonnen working the head with strikes. Sonnen working the head with strikes. Sonnen tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Sonnen working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sonnen looks up at the clock and then as Anderson takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Sonnen smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Anderson tries to improve position but can't. Sonnen working the body and head with strikes. Sonnen scores with a couple of short elbows. Anderson is breathing heavily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Anderson is working to avoid the ground and pound but Sonnen connects with a decent elbow. Sonnen working the body and head with strikes. Anderson taking a bit of punishment here - Sonnen scoring with strikes. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Sonnen working the head with strikes. Anderson being controlled for a moment. Anderson prevents Sonnen from improving position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sonnen connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Anderson some visible discomfort.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Sonnen grinds an elbow into Anderson's temple. Sonnen working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Sonnen tries to move to mount but Anderson blocks the move with his legs. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Tito Sonnen dominated that round. That's time! Anderson's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Sonnen wants to clinch up but Anderson keeps it at a distance. Sonnen lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Anderson circles away quickly and effectively. Sonnen shoots in and bounces Anderson off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Sonnen lands a couple of digs. Sonnen controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Sonnen tries to free his leg and advance position but Anderson is retaining full guard. Sonnen really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Anderson. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Anderson keeping moving, preventing Sonnen from controlling successfully.
That's one minute gone in the round. Anderson lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Sonnen! Sonnen is looking to improve his position but Anderson isn't that keen on the idea. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Sonnen can do anything to dispel that myth. Sonnen is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Sonnen holds on for dear life, controlling Anderson's posture momentarily. Sonnen is desperately trying to improve his position but Anderson has a good base and remains in mount. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Sonnen tries to hold on but Anderson pushes him away. Sonnen is wriggling around trying to escape.
Sonnen is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Sonnen really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Anderson looking to control but Sonnen is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Sonnen defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Anderson.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Anderson has control of Sonnen's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Sonnen regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Sonnen is desperately trying to improve his position but Anderson has a good base and remains in mount. Sonnen tries to hold on but Anderson postures up. Sonnen is trying to escape the mount.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Anderson wants to stand but Sonnen is holding on to him, trying to stop him posturing up.
Sonnen wants to hold on but Anderson pushes him away. Sonnen is in all sorts of trouble here.
Sonnen defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Anderson. Anderson working for a guillotine from mount but Sonnen is in no mood to give up. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Sonnen tries to reverse the position but Anderson maintains control. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Tito Sonnen showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!
Sonnen keeps the fight on the outside. Sonnen tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Rich Anderson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Sonnen tries to close the distance and clinch but Anderson swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Sonnen drives through and clinches with Anderson against the cage.
Sonnen pulls guard effortlessly. Sonnen tries to land a sweep but no joy. Sonnen utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Tito Sonnen has got the better of the ground game so far. Anderson thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Sonnen looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Sonnen is pulling down on Anderson's head to control his posture. Anderson is looking to work some ground and pound but Sonnen has wrist control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sonnen looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it. Sonnen is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Anderson is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Sonnen is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Sonnen is adopting a defensive guard. Anderson has gone for a leg lock! Sonnen slips out almost immediately though and dives into Anderson's guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sonnen looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Anderson throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Sonnen wants to stand but Anderson is controlling his posture from full guard. Sonnen sitting in guard here, content to control. Rich Anderson has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Tito Sonnen is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Anderson keeping full guard, as Sonnen tries to pass.
And that's the end of the fight! Tito Sonnen comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Sonnen has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
