Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jada Kiss (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Raymond Duvernay (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Raymond Duvernay has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 1, fighting out of New York, Jada Kiss!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Raymond Duvernay!
The judges for this bout are Anthony Taglia, Alyssa Summers and Columbo Gatti.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Duvernay lands a head kick. Kiss smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Duvernay tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Kiss moves into range and clinches up with Duvernay.
Duvernay is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
Duvernay will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Kiss up against the cage.
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.
A frustrated look appears on Duvernay's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Duvernay wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Kiss has him pressed against the cage.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Duvernay has had enough of the clinch but Kiss keeps him there for the moment.
Kiss tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Duvernay just stands there and leans against the cage.
Kiss goes for a takedown in the clinch but Duvernay prevents it.
Duvernay looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Kiss prevents Duvernay from breaking the clinch.

Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Duvernay fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Duvernay delivers a nice body kick.
Duvernay lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Kiss circles away quickly and effectively.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Duvernay is trying hard to land a takedown here. Kiss sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Jada Kiss has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Raymond Duvernay.
Duvernay throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Kiss drops back looking for a leg! Duvernay is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Duvernay manages to kick Kiss off! Kiss jumps back into Duvernay's guard.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Duvernay shoots in for a double leg but Kiss sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Kiss fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Duvernay avoids it really well and circles away.
Kiss closes this distance looking for a takedown but Duvernay circles away.

Duvernay misses with a wild combination.
Kiss tries for a takedown but Duvernay sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Duvernay lands a big head kick that sends Kiss tumbling to the mat! Duvernay takes a step backwards and waves Kiss back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Kiss drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Kiss preventing the sweep.
Kiss slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Duvernay is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Kiss's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.
Duvernay is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Kiss tries to stand but his arm is trapped.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Raymond Duvernay showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Kiss moves into the clinch successfully.

Duvernay breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Kiss postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Duvernay is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Kiss, into his guard.
Kiss not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

Kiss is looking for a triangle but Duvernay pushes his legs off easily.

Kiss wants to sweep but no luck.
Duvernay wants to stand but Kiss has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

Kiss looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Duvernay wants to get up but he can't break Kiss's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Duvernay decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Kiss slaps away a takedown attempt from Duvernay, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Duvernay throws a head kick but Kiss moves out of range.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

Kiss blocks a head kick by Duvernay.
Duvernay lands a right hook to the body.
Duvernay avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Jada Kiss has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Raymond Duvernay is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
Kiss throws a left and a right that both miss

and Duvernay counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Duvernay.

Raymond Duvernay comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got Duvernay winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
