Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Adam Petruzelli (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brandon Archey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Petruzelli's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Getting Away With Murder - Papa Roach. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Adam Petruzelli! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Brandon Archey! The judges for this bout are John Kavanagh, John Roberts and Reed Andrews.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Archey throws a head kick but Petruzelli moves out of range.
Archey throws a jab but it's blocked by Petruzelli. Archey tries for a takedown but Petruzelli sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Petruzelli looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Petruzelli looking to sit in guard and control but Archey gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Petruzelli controls Archey momentarily but Archey frees himself. Archey has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Petruzelli is proving hard to escape from. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Petruzelli is on top in guard.

That's one minute gone in the round. Archey keeping moving, preventing Petruzelli from controlling successfully. Petruzelli could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Petruzelli tries to free his leg and advance position but Archey is retaining full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Petruzelli trying to control the position from guard on top but Archey is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Petruzelli is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Petruzelli trying to control but Archey is working from the bottom.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Archey is looking to stand up but Petruzelli isn't so interested in that idea. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Archey throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Petruzelli was covering up waiting for the punch and Archey finishes the takedown easily into guard. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Petruzelli keeping full guard, as Archey tries to pass. Petruzelli scrambles and gets back to his feet.
The fight moves into the clinch position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Archey can't get the takedown.
Archey jumps into guard, dragging Petruzelli to the mat.
Petruzelli trying to control but Archey is working from the bottom. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Petruzelli throwing strikes but missing. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Adam Petruzelli dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Archey lands with a slapping head kick. Petruzelli shoots in for a takedown but Archey shows good takedown defense. Petruzelli shoots for a double leg takedown but Archey sprawls well. He's pushed Petruzelli's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Archey fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Petruzelli sprawls well initially but Archey persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Archey wants to control but Petruzelli is keeping him busy. Petruzelli controlling the leg, holding on to half guard. Archey with the ground and pound but Petruzelli uses the opportunity to regain guard. Archey throws a strike but Petruzelli rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Petruzelli trying to control but Archey is working from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. Petruzelli stops Archey from standing up. Archey keeping moving, preventing Petruzelli from controlling successfully.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Archey working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Petruzelli. Archey wants to stand up but Petruzelli is controlling him.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Archey misses with the combination.
Archey is breathing heavily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Archey looks to clinch and Petruzelli counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Archey's guard now. Petruzelli wants to control from the top but Archey keeps moving. Archey not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Petruzelli drops back, looking for a kneebar! Archey looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Archey looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Archey! Petruzelli is pushing Archey's head away, looking to escape. Archey manages to hold on to the position though.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Archey stands up. Archey tries to clinch but Petruzelli moves away and Petruzelli counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Archey's guard now. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Petruzelli controls from within his opponent's guard. Petruzelli loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Adam Petruzelli will probably get the nod. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!
Archey with a lazy takedown attempt and Petruzelli counters by moving into the clinch. Petruzelli has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Archey avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Archey pushes off an throws an elbow but Petruzelli leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage. Petruzelli gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Archey regains guard.
Petruzelli working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. Petruzelli looking to pass the guard. Archey wants to stand up but Petruzelli is controlling him. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Archey keeping moving, preventing Petruzelli from controlling successfully. Petruzelli controlling from the top position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Archey is trying to keep Petruzelli in close.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Petruzelli throws a strike but Archey rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Archey postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Petruzelli is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Petruzelli tries to land a sweep but no joy. Archey really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Petruzelli. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Petruzelli looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Archey puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard. Archey is just content to waste time from the top position. Petruzelli takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard. Petruzelli wants to stand but Archey is controlling the position. Archey won't allow Petruzelli to sweep him here. Archey throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Archey wants to control from the top but Petruzelli keeps moving. Archey stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Petruzelli swivels though and keeps the full guard.
And that's the end of the fight! Adam Petruzelli showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Petruzelli, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
