The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Torrua changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Jackman looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Jackman is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
Torrua throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Jackman wants to control but Torrua is keeping busy and won't allow it.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Torrua connects with a nice short shot to Jackman's temple.

Torrua winds up and cracks Jackman with a swinging punch to the side of the head.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Jackman is on top in guard.

Torrua parries the strikes from Jackman easily there. Jackman is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Torrua to escape.

Torrua throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

Torrua tries to hold on but Jackman pushes him away.
Jackman lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
Torrua wants to control but Jackman is having none of it.
Jackman can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Torrua is looking to escape.
Jackman is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Torrua is surviving well by controlling Jackman's body position as best he can.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Torrua tries to reverse the position but Jackman maintains control.
Jackman is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Torrua can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Dave Torrua's cut is getting worse.
Jackman tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Jackman is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Torrua to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Torrua shrugs it off.
Torrua wants to hold on but Jackman pushes him away.
The referee warns Torrua that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Dave Torrua's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Dave Torrua's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
