Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jerry Holtra (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and louis coleman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). louis coleman is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jerry Holtra! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, louis coleman! The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Trevor Gratis and Elvis Blanc.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Holtra gets the takedown into side control. coleman manages to work his way to half guard, despite Holtra's best efforts. Holtra wants to control but coleman is keeping him busy. Holtra really is a fat lump. coleman is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Holtra pulls his head out easily. Holtra lands strikes from half guard. coleman wants to get back to full guard. Holtra working coleman over with strikes. Holtra scores with a couple of good hammerfists. Holtra thows a huge punch but coleman dodges it nicely.
Holtra is working for a submission of some sort.
Holtra winds up and cracks coleman with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Holtra sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. coleman defending well though.
That's one minute gone in the round. Holtra prevents coleman from improving his position. Holtra is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and coleman defends it well. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Holtra connects with a nice short shot to coleman's temple. coleman is trying to stand.
Holtra working coleman over with strikes. Holtra lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Holtra scoring with strikes to the body and head. coleman has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Holtra is working away from the top position though.
That's two minutes gone in the round. coleman is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Holtra's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Holtra's back! coleman looks gassed! coleman has his opponent trapped and is landing shots. Not a good position for Holtra. coleman is trying to stick to Holtra's back but Holtra is turning into coleman. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in coleman's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Holtra. coleman keeping moving, preventing Holtra from controlling successfully. coleman is trying to control the position but Holtra postures up. Holtra is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Holtra drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Holtra jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. coleman really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Holtra. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Holtra scoring with some ground and pound.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Holtra postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. coleman utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Holtra shoots in for a double leg but coleman sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Holtra shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. coleman throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena. coleman pushes Holtra up against the cage in a clinch. coleman pulls guard. Holtra trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Holtra trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. coleman throws some sloppy strikes off his back.
Holtra throws a big right hand that misses. coleman throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
That's four minutes gone in the round. coleman utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Holtra drops back, looking for a kneebar! coleman looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. coleman looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from coleman! coleman working away. coleman lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Holtra down.
Holtra misses with an elbow from the bottom. coleman trying to control the action but Holtra is working from the bottom. Holtra manages to get one leg in to regain half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jerry Holtra dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
A left and a right from coleman both land. Nice combination. Holtra closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Holtra lands in his opponent's guard. coleman is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Holtra has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. coleman wants to stand and escape but Holtra is having none of it. coleman has momentary wrist control but Holtra slips an elbow through the middle. Holtra is working coleman over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Holtra lands a couple of decent looking shots. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. coleman utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Holtra might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Holtra scoring with some ground and pound. Jerry Holtra overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Holtra stands and throws coleman's legs to the side, diving into side control.
That's one minute gone in the round. coleman is trying to control Holtra's posture but Holtra avoids it. Holtra landing with strikes to the head and body from side control. Holtra scoring with punches and elbows. coleman wants to control but Holtra postures up. Holtra scores with punches from side control. Holtra goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, coleman rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Holtra's guard! Nice work there by coleman! Holtra striking off his back but it's not causing coleman any problems. coleman is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
That's two minutes gone in the round. coleman stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Holtra swivels though and keeps the full guard. Holtra looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but coleman is defending well. Holtra quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! coleman has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Holtra celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
