Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Kieron King (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Matias Miranda (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). King comes to the cage accompanied by Men at Work - Land Down Under. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

King has Miranda up against the cage in a clinch.
King fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Miranda looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Miranda is trying to break the clinch but King is controlling him.
Miranda tries to circle away but King has him pinned against the cage.
A frustrated look appears on Miranda's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Miranda wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but King has him pressed against the cage.
King lands a body punch.
King has Miranda pressed against the cage, preventing Miranda from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
King drops down looking for an ankle pick but Miranda pulls his leg out and moves away.

Well, if King is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
King prevents Miranda from standing back up.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. King connects with a nice short shot to Miranda's temple.
Miranda wants to get back to his feet.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
King is looking to stall here but Miranda recovers full guard.
King knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Miranda on the ground.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Miranda tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and King counters with a two punch combo.
Miranda does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

Miranda tries to break free but King pushes him back against the cage.
Miranda has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
King keeps control of Miranda as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Miranda is pressed up against the cage. King has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Miranda down to the mat. Miranda avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Miranda is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

King shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Miranda is trying to defend but King finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

King looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Miranda with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

King seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

King is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Miranda defends it well.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
King stalks Miranda and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Miranda's face. Miranda staggers backwards, shaken.

King shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.

King goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Miranda turns into him and now he's in King's guard.

King bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Miranda is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but King has just dragged him back down to the mat.
King wants to control but Miranda is keeping him busy.
