The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Rodriquez moves away from the strike by Saint.
Rodriquez throws a low kick but Saint avoids it.
Saint tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Rodriquez swivels and escapes.

Saint goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Rodriquez has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Saint but great work by Rodriquez.

Rodriquez wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Saint, who protects the arm well.

Saint looks to land a right hand but Rodriquez moved out of range.
