Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Marco Belfort (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dersu Uzala (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dersu Uzala told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
13 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Marco Belfort! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
8 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dersu Uzala! The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Chris Downing and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Belfort comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Good shot there by Belfort. Belfort lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Uzala at a distance.
A combination from Belfort does no damage. Belfort defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Uzala. Uzala takes a shot to the body in his stride.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Uzala tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Belfort swivels and escapes. Uzala looks gassed! A nice combination there by Belfort.
Belfort rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Uzala moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Belfort throws a leg kick but Uzala sees it coming and moves out of range. Belfort misses with a two punch combination.
Belfort lands a high kick!
Uzala is rocked! Uzala slips a jab and a cross from Belfort.
That's one minute gone in the round. Belfort lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Uzala at a distance.
Marco Belfort seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Uzala fails with a takedown attempt. Marco Belfort has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dersu Uzala. Belfort cracks Uzala on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Uzala falls backwards against the cage. Belfort follows up with more strikes that drop Uzala to his knees. Belfort keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Uzala! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:19 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Marco Belfort!
