The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Raskolnikov swats away the attempt to clinch by Moniuszko.
Raskolnikov tries to work over Moniuszko's front leg with a kick but Moniuszko checks it.
Horrible takedown by Moniuszko or perhaps it was just good defense by Raskolnikov which made him look bad.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Tadeusz Moniuszko seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Raskolnikov wants the takedown. Moniuszko is fighting it off but Raskolnikov persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Moniuszko's guard against the cage.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Moniuszko is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.
The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch.
Moniuszko drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Raskolnikov gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Raskolnikov lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Moniuszko backwards.

Moniuszko leaves Raskolnikov with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

and Raskolnikov decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Moniuszko's guard.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Moniuszko is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Raskolnikov is controlling him.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Moniuszko is working for a kimura but Raskolnikov is defending it quite comfortably.

Vladimir Raskolnikov comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Raskolnikov has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
