Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Tadeusz Moniuszko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vladimir Raskolnikov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Raskolnikov has chosen Goryachie vremya - Kasta as his entrance music. Tadeusz Moniuszko could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Vladimir Raskolnikov's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Tadeusz Moniuszko! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Vladimir Raskolnikov! The judges for this bout are Vladimir Khabensky, Valeri Chadov and Dmitry Maklakov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Raskolnikov swats away the attempt to clinch by Moniuszko. Raskolnikov tries to work over Moniuszko's front leg with a kick but Moniuszko checks it. Horrible takedown by Moniuszko or perhaps it was just good defense by Raskolnikov which made him look bad. The fight moves into the clinch position. Raskolnikov pulls guard effortlessly. Moniuszko wants to pass the guard but Raskolnikov is keeping the position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Raskolnikov pulls Moniuszko in close to prevent any damage. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Raskolnikov is trying to control the position from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. Moniuszko wants to pass the guard but Raskolnikov is keeping the position. Moniuszko preventing the sweep. Moniuszko missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Moniuszko uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Raskolnikov.
Moniuszko fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Raskolnikov fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Raskolnikov sizes up Moniuszko with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. Raskolnikov gets a clinch. Raskolnikov breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Moniuszko fails with the takedown and Raskolnikov counters into the clinch. Nicely done. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tadeusz Moniuszko. That's going to take a lot out of him.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Moniuszko is pressed up against the cage. Raskolnikov has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Moniuszko down to the mat. Moniuszko avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Moniuszko shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Raskolnikov as he avoids it easily. Raskolnikov swings for the body but Moniuszko moves out of range.
Moniuszko shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Raskolnikov counters with a right hand to the body. Moniuszko fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Moniuszko tries for a takedown but Raskolnikov circles away easily and Raskolnikov counters with a low kick, right behind Moniuszko 's knee. Tadeusz Moniuszko seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Moniuszko is breathing heavily. Moniuszko with a poor takedown and Raskolnikov counters by moving into the clinch. Raskolnikov wants the takedown. Moniuszko is fighting it off but Raskolnikov persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Moniuszko's guard against the cage. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Raskolnikov trying to control the position from guard on top but Moniuszko is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Raskolnikov trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Moniuszko is looking to stand up but Raskolnikov isn't so interested in that idea. Raskolnikov wants to pass the guard but Moniuszko is keeping the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Moniuszko is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched. The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch. Moniuszko drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Raskolnikov gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Raskolnikov lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Moniuszko backwards. Moniuszko takes a knee to the side of the body. A bit of stalling here from Raskolnikov.

The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky. Raskolnikov breaks the clinch.
Moniuszko leaves Raskolnikov with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Moniuszko with a poor takedown and Raskolnikov counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Raskolnikov rushes Moniuszko and presses him up against the cage. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Vladimir Raskolnikov dominated that round. That's time! Moniuszko's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Moniuszko fails with the takedown and Raskolnikov decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Moniuszko's guard. Raskolnikov trying to control the position from guard on top but Moniuszko is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Raskolnikov is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully. Raskolnikov pushes down on Moniuszko's leg and manages to get into half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Raskolnikov not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Raskolnikov trying to control from Moniuszko's half guard. Moniuszko has other ideas though and has regained full guard. Raskolnikov in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Raskolnikov prevents Moniuszko from getting back to his feet. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Moniuszko working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Raskolnikov.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Raskolnikov closes the distance and pushes Moniuszko back into the cage. Raskolnikov gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Moniuszko regains guard.
Raskolnikov wants to control from the top but Moniuszko keeps moving.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Moniuszko is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Raskolnikov is controlling him. Raskolnikov advances to half guard. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Raskolnikov stalling. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Vladimir Raskolnikov showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!
Moniuszko gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Raskolnikov counters with a two punch combo. Moniuszko shoots and misses and Raskolnikov counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
It looks like Tadeusz Moniuszko has been cut. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Moniuszko shoots and misses and Raskolnikov counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Moniuszko thinking. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tadeusz Moniuszko. That's going to take a lot out of him. Raskolnikov lands a nice hook to Moniuszko's body. Moniuszko takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Raskolnikov feints and then cracks Moniuszko's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Moniuszko down. Raskolnikov drops Moniuszko with a left and a right! Oh, Moniuszko is hurt - Raskolnikov dives into side control looking to finish!
Moniuszko is rocked! Raskolnikov lands a few punches from side control. Raskolnikov trying to control the action but Moniuszko is working from the bottom. Raskolnikov has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Raskolnikov controlling the position from side mount. Moniuszko tries to bench press Raskolnikov off him but Raskolnikov keeps the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Raskolnikov is looking to take a break and control but Moniuszko is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Vladimir Raskolnikov is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Moniuszko shoots in for a takedown but Raskolnikov shows good takedown defense. Moniuszko tries to clinch but Raskolnikov moves away and Raskolnikov counters with a lovely straight right hand! The fight moves into the clinch position. Raskolnikov working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely. Moniuszko is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Raskolnikov pulls Moniuszko into guard.
Moniuszko is pushing down on Raskolnikov's leg trying to pass to half guard. Raskolnikov is fighting to maintain full guard but Moniuszko has managed to sneak the leg through. Tadeusz Moniuszko has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Moniuszko is working for a kimura but Raskolnikov is defending it quite comfortably.
And that's the end of the fight! Vladimir Raskolnikov comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Raskolnikov has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
