Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Llewellyn Moss (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tom Bull (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Llewellyn Moss!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Tom Bull!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Frank Antenori and Timothy Bukovac.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Bull shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Moss's guard.
Moss trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from!
Moss keeping moving, preventing Bull from controlling successfully.
Bull's corner is telling him to maintain position.
Bull wants to control from the top but Moss keeps moving.
Moss wants to control but Bull passes easily into half guard.
Bull is looking to advance position but Moss won't allow it.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Bull controlling the action here.
Bull wants to stand up but Moss has a hold of him and won't allow it.
Moss tries to roll over but Bull keeps him under control.
Bull wants to pass to mount but Moss is defending the position.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

Moss darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Moss is breathing heavily.
Bull is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Moss passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Bull!
Moss fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Bull can't escape the position.
Bull is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Bull is trying to avoid being dragged into an even worse position than he's already in but Moss is staying active.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Bull sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.
Moss throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Moss lands strikes from half guard.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Moss connects with a nice short shot to Bull's temple.
Bull slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
Bull is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Moss accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Moss throws a big right hand that misses.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Bull is on top in guard.
Bull is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

Moss tries to strike from the bottom.
Moss utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Bull has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Moss is proving hard to escape from.
Bull throws and elbow that misses. Moss uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Bull's guard. Nice move by Moss!
Moss trying to control but Bull is working from the bottom.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Llewellyn Moss will probably get the nod.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!



Moss looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Bull!
Moss prevents Bull from getting the reversal.
Bull takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
Bull tries to reverse the position but Moss maintains control.
Moss lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
Bull should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Bull is trying to escape the mount.
Bull slips a leg in and gets back to half guard.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Bull is refusing to be controlled, as Moss sits in half guard.
Bull moves into full guard.

Moss trying to control but Bull is working from the bottom.
Moss throwing strikes from guard but Bull blocks nicely.
Moss is looking to stand up but Bull won't let him.
Moss throws a strike but Bull rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Moss wants to improve his position but instead Bull has moved into half guard.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Bull wants to take a breather but Moss is having none of it.

Bull is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Moss is trying to stand.

Moss manages to escape and get back to his feet!
Moss doesn't succeed with the takedown

so Bull counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Moss looking for a sweep. Not yet Moss, not yet.
Bull prevents Moss from getting back to his feet.
Tom Bull has got the better of the ground game so far.
Moss throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.
Bull is pushing down on Moss's leg trying to pass to half guard. Moss is fighting to maintain full guard but Bull has managed to sneak the leg through.
Moss tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land.

Moss tries to get to full guard but Bull has control of the leg.
Moss missing with punches from the bottom.
Moss is looking for a sweep. Bull is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Bull tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Moss paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Bull gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily

and Moss counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Bull!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close second round but I would say that Llewellyn Moss will probably get the nod.
That's time! Moss's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!



Moss shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Bull is trying to defend but Moss finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Bull is trying to maintain the position but Moss is very close to passing his half guard.
Moss wants to stand but his hand is trapped. Bull uses the opportunity to regain full guard.
Moss stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Bull swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Bull is trying to control the position but Moss postures up.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Moss throws a strike but Bull rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Moss has a closed guard, preventing Bull from standing up.

Bull pushing down on Moss's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.
Bull looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Moss with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Bull is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Moss doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Bull.
Moss gets full guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.

Moss has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Bull can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Bull stands and steps away. Moss gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

Bull avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Moss distracts Bull with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Moss trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Moss wants to control from the top but Bull keeps moving.

Moss has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Moss is in close to Bull's body, working some short punches and elbows.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Bull shoots in but doesn't get the takedown

The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Moss lands a nice short elbow.
Moss is looking to take a break and control but Bull is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Tom Bull has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Llewellyn Moss is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

Llewellyn Moss showed his dominance in that final round.
Well Moss has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
