Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Vladimir Khabensky, Viktor Lagutenko and Igor Prikhodko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Voroshilov pushes Schowkowski up against the cage in a clinch.
Schowkowski jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Voroshilov walks away with a smile on his face. Schowkowski gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Voroshilov closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Schowkowski did well to prevent Voroshilov getting side control.
Schowkowski wants to get back to his feet.
Voroshilov is looking for a kimura here.
Schowkowski keeping hold of Voroshilov's head, controlling as best he can.

Voroshilov prevents Schowkowski from standing back up.
Voroshilov looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Schowkowski is not content to let Voroshilov control the position.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Schowkowski's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Schowkowski duly obliges.
It looks like Wladimir Voroshilov has been cut.
Schowkowski throws a right hand that Voroshilov ducks under and follows up with a left that Voroshilov also avoids with ease.
Voroshilov misses with the combination.
Voroshilov displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination.
Schowkowski throws the kick towards the body but Voroshilov avoids it.
Voroshilov moves into range and clinches up with Schowkowski.
Schowkowski is trying to force a seperation but Voroshilov has the dominant position.
Voroshilov wants a takedown.
Voroshilov has hold of one of Schowkowski's legs. Schowkowski is fighting the takedown attempt but Voroshilov gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.
Voroshilov is breathing heavily.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

Voroshilov shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Schowkowski napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Schowkowski can't do much from the bottom here.

That was a close round but I would say that Wladimir Voroshilov will probably get the nod.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
A head kick misses from Schowkowski.
Nice uppercut there from Schowkowski.
Schowkowski misses with a jab, cross combination.
Schowkowski tries to bum rush Voroshilov with a series of wild strikes but Voroshilov uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Voroshilov shoots in and drives through. Schowkowski sprawls well.
Schowkowski misses with a series of wild punches.
Voroshilov takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Voroshilov fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Voroshilov chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Schowkowski can pounce on him.
Schowkowski changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Wladimir Voroshilov is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Schowkowski lands a nice looking body kick.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Schowkowski lands with a thumping leg kick.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Schowkowski lands with a slapping head kick.
Schowkowski comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Schowkowski connects with a good straight punch right through the guard and follows up with a right hook and a left hook! That last one sent Voroshilov tumbling to the canvas! Schowkowski pours on the pressure with more strikes and the referee has no hesitation diving in to stop the fight! Voroshilov was done - good stoppage!
