Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lawrence Wong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Humu Kalakaua (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kalakaua has chosen as his entrance music. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Lawrence Wong!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
9 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Humu Kalakaua!
The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Steve Smith and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wong misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Kalakaua misses with a few strikes there.
Wong swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Kalakaua counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Wong will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Wong throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Kalakaua tries to clinch there but Wong circles away.
Wong stuffs the takedown attempt from Kalakaua. Kalakaua gets slowly back to his feet.
Kalakaua fails with the takedown.
Nice takedown defense from Wong. No joy for Kalakaua on that attempt.
Lawrence Wong has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Humu Kalakaua.
Kalakaua slips a jab and a cross from Wong.
Kalakaua tries to clinch up but Wong circles away and keeps his distance.
Wong turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Kalakaua tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Wong swivels and escapes.
Some wild striking there from Wong.
Wong misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Kalakaua.
Wong throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Kalakaua.

Wong throws a sloppy head kick and Kalakaua moves out of range easily.
Wong misses with a head kick.
Wong misses with a wild body shot.
Wong keeps the fight on the outside.
Wong misses with a hook to the body
and Kalakaua counters with a nice uppercut.
Wong throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Wong throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Wong throws a sloppy head kick
and Kalakaua counters with a crisp one two that drops Wong! Kalakaua thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Wong to his feet! Wong is in big trouble!
Wong is rocked!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Kalakaua sees an opening and throws a straight punch right through Wong's defenses. It connects perfectly with Wong's jaw and knocks him out cold! Wow - that's a contender for knockout of the year - absolutely brutal!
