Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between David Dodd (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and duece delta (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). David Dodd has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, David Dodd! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, duece delta! The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Robert Twigg and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dodd gets caught flat footed, as delta shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. delta is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Dodd wants to sweep here but delta controlling him for the moment. Dodd not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Dodd looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. delta drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Dodd dives on top into guard. Dodd connects with a couple of short punches. Dodd slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. delta trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from! delta looking to sweep here. No luck so far. delta has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Dodd can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Dodd slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. delta keeping moving, preventing Dodd from controlling successfully. Dodd trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. delta has a closed guard, preventing Dodd from standing up. delta lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Dodd! delta working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Dodd is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Dodd tries to get back to half guard but can't. delta is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Dodd to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Dodd shrugs it off. delta moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Dodd has worked his arm free - good work by Dodd!
delta looks gassed! delta working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Dodd sneaks back into half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. delta is looking for a kimura here.

delta is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Dodd is just riding it out for now. delta eventually gives up the hold. delta trying to work for an americana but Dodd has managed to regain full guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Dodd has control of delta's left arm, preventing delta from doing any damage. Dodd is trying to control the position from the bottom.
delta drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Dodd manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now delta has Dodd in his guard. Dodd seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Dodd landing with the ground and pound. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that David Dodd will probably get the nod. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Dodd fakes high and swings low for a body shot but delta manages to avoid it. duece delta seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Dodd looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Dodd postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Dodd gets to his feet. delta looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! delta feints and as Dodd raises his hands in defense, delta changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. delta postures up.
delta is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Dodd is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Dodd has escaped and now he's on top! delta has his feet on Dodd's thighs here. He's pushed Dodd off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Dodd screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
