The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mosby fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Mosby has a takedown stuffed.
Silva tries to bum rush Mosby with a series of wild strikes but Mosby uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Silva stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Silva wants it to stay on the feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ted Mosby. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Silva throws a series of punches but Mosby moves out of range.

Silva scores with a takedown into Mosby's guard.
Mosby is trying to control the position from the bottom.

Silva stands and steps away. Mosby gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Mosby shoots and misses

and Silva counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

Silva tries to stand but Mosby is controlling from the bottom.
Silva throws and elbow that misses. Mosby uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Silva's guard. Nice move by Mosby!

Mosby drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Silva manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Mosby has Silva in his guard.

Silva looking to improve position, pressing down on Mosby's thigh with his hand. Mosby seems to be working to lock up a guilotine though... is Silva paying attention? Apparently not! He's locked it up tight! Silva's face has turned purple! Will he tap? Will he! YES! He's tapped! Mosby picked his opening and made it count! Great finish!
