Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Joe Budden (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eddie O Hare (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Eddie O Hare has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Joe Budden's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Joe Budden! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Eddie O Hare! The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Trevor Gratis and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! No luck with that takedown attempt from O Hare. Budden slaps away a takedown attempt from O Hare, before circling back to the center of the mat. O Hare swings for the body but Budden moves out of range.
Budden lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but O Hare circles away quickly and effectively. Budden throws a right and a left that O Hare avoids nicely. Budden throws a nice looking combination but O Hare bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. O Hare misses with a wild body shot. O Hare swings for the body but Budden moves out of range.
O Hare connects with a solid leg kick. O Hare misses with an attempted mid kick.
O Hare shoots in but no luck this time. Joe Budden has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Eddie O Hare. Budden goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo. Budden is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
O Hare shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Budden pinned against the cage. Budden gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Budden is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by O Hare. Budden takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Budden chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before O Hare can pounce on him.
Budden throws a right and a left that both miss. Budden throws a low kick but O Hare avoids it. Eddie O Hare seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Budden fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
That's one minute gone in the round. No luck for O Hare with that takedown attempt. Budden works the jab nicely. O Hare cracks the inside of Budden's front leg. Budden lands a lovely overhand right. O Hare lands a nice hook to Budden's body. Budden takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. O Hare lands with a nice body kick. A solid leg kick lands there for O Hare.
O Hare jabbing away but nothing is landing. Budden lands a jab to the head.
O Hare lands with a straight right. Budden didn't see that one coming. O Hare is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Budden's half guard. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with O Hare in particular looking to stall. O Hare is working for a submission of some sort.
O Hare is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Budden defends it well.
That's two minutes gone in the round. O Hare is looking for a kimura here.
O Hare is looking to advance position but Budden won't allow it. O Hare perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. O Hare is working for a submission of some sort.
That's three minutes gone in the round. O Hare is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Budden has managed to free his arm - good work. Budden manages to get to full guard.
Budden keeping full guard, as O Hare tries to pass. O Hare throws a big right hand that misses. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. O Hare trying to control the position from guard on top but Budden is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. O Hare is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. O Hare drops back, looking for a kneebar! Budden looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Budden looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Budden! O Hare struggling a bit here. O Hare is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Budden off and has taken his back! Budden looking to stop the rear naked choke attempt by controlling the hands. O Hare patiently working for the choke. Which fighter will keep their nerve here? O Hare is looking cool and calm here, just waiting for a good opportunity to attack and finish the fight from this dominant position.
O Hare is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Budden has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Eddie O Hare dominated that round. That's time! Back to the action!
O Hare throws a push kick but Budden slaps the foot to one side. Budden displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination. Budden misses with an uppercut. O Hare thows a body shot but no joy. A lazy left from Budden finds it's target. O Hare fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Budden avoids it really well and circles away. O Hare changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Budden looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Budden knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for O Hare on the ground. O Hare tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. O Hare working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Budden stops O Hare from passing to mount.
That's one minute gone in the round. Budden parries the strikes from O Hare easily there. O Hare is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Budden to escape.
O Hare has an Americana. Budden didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! O Hare is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if O Hare hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
