Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Cole Rogan! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, John Bach! The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, George Francis and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rogan lands a head shot. Bach tries to score a power double leg takedown but Rogan sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Bach somewhat. Bach fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Bach throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Rogan's waist but Rogan gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Bach off to one side. Cole Rogan has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of John Bach. Rogan tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Rogan explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work. Rogan shoots in and bounces Bach off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Rogan gets to his feet. Bach looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Bach looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. A right-left combo lands from Rogan. Bach is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Rogan stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Rogan wants it to stay on the feet. Bach looks gassed!
That's one minute gone in the round. Rogan keeps the fight on the outside. Rogan scores with a punch to the head. Rogan throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
John Bach seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Rogan connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. Bach shoots in and bounces Rogan off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Bach prevents Rogan from getting back to his feet. Rogan is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Bach drops back looking for a leg! Rogan is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Rogan manages to kick Bach off! Bach jumps back into Rogan's guard. Rogan wants to sweep here but Bach controlling him for the moment.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Rogan keeping moving, preventing Bach from controlling successfully. Bach preventing the sweep. Rogan trying to control the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Rogan keeping moving, preventing Bach from controlling successfully.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Bach shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Rogan keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Bach wants to control the pace but Rogan is squirming around nicely. Bach has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Rogan's face.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Bach sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Bach stands up from the dominant position, so we're back on the feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Bach fails with the takedown and Rogan counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Rogan leaves Bach with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Rogan gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Bach to score an easy takedown into full guard. Bach prevents Rogan from getting back to his feet. Bach working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Bach trying to control but Rogan is working from the bottom. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Cole Rogan dominated that round. That's time! Rogan's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Bach moves into the clinch. Bach tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Rogan just stands there and leans against the cage. Bach drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Rogan wants to break free but Bach has control.
Rogan tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
A short body shot lands from Rogan as the two fighters clinch.
Bach tries for a takedown. No joy.
Cole Rogan has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of John Bach. Rogan is fighting off a takedown attempt but Bach is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Rogan to the mat. Rogan regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat. Bach wants to control from the top but Rogan keeps moving. Bach stands up from Rogan's guard - Bach perhaps looking for a knockout. Rogan lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Bach backs up against the cage.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bach moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Rogan tries to close the distance and clinch but Bach swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Bach dives in and grabs Rogan's left leg, looking for a takedown. Rogan pushes down on Bach's head and hops out. Bach with a poor takedown and Rogan counters with a right hand to the body. Bach moves into the clinch. Bach tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Rogan smiles and moves away.

Bach looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Rogan!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bach looking to control but Rogan is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Bach lands a nice shot to the head. The referee warns Rogan that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Bach is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Rogan can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Bach is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Rogan has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Rogan tries to control Bach's body but Bach pushes him off. Rogan squirms to his side and now Bach has his back! Bach looking to break Rogan's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Rogan remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Bach will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bach trying to control. Bach has the hooks in. Rogan is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted. Bach has good solid back control here. Bach is remaining active here, looking for the choke. The more discerning members of the crowd will appreciate his efforts.
Rogan is trying escape back to his feet. He turns into his opponent's guard and eventually finds his way back to his feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Bach throws a nice outside leg kick. Bach has his takedown stuffed and Rogan counters with a big head kick but Bach shrugs it off. Bach with a lazy takedown attempt and Rogan counters by clinching up. Bach is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Rogan pulls him back up using the underhooks. Rogan can't break the clinch.
Bach lands a left hand that snaps the head of Rogan backwards. Bach has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Rogan is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. A frustrated look appears on Rogan's face as he tries to break the clinch. Bach has Rogan pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Rogan manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Bach wants a takedown.
Rogan tries to break the clinch but Bach is controlling the position. Bach turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
John Bach showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. And we move into the final round!
Bach closes the distance and clinches. Bach wants a takedown but no success here.
Bach's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Cole Rogan is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Nice uppercut there from Rogan. Bach looks for a takedown but Rogan sprawls well. Bach shoots and misses and Rogan counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Cole Rogan has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of John Bach. Bach tries for a takedown but Rogan circles away easily and Rogan counters with a lovely straight right hand! Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Rogan, as that shot connected.

That's one minute gone in the round. Rogan lands with an overhand left. Cole Rogan is winning the standup battle so far. A telegraphed right hand from Rogan misses the target. Bach doesn't succeed with the takedown and Rogan counters with a head kick. That will keep Bach thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks! Bach forces Rogan back against the cage and clinches. Bach has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Rogan avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Bach tries to score a body lock takedown but Rogan shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Rogan tries to break free but Bach pushes him back against the cage. Rogan has had enough of the clinch but Bach keeps him there for the moment. Bach misses with a knee strike.
Bach has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Rogan avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Bach changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Rogan fights it off and pushes away nicely.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Bach dives in and grabs Rogan's left leg, looking for a takedown. Rogan pushes down on Bach's head and hops out. Rogan tries to clinch but Bach is having none of it. Bach tries for a takedown but Rogan sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. A right-left combo lands from Rogan. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Bach is defended easily by Rogan. Bach fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Rogan changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Bach looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Rogan decides to stand up, so the ref orders Bach to his feet. Some wild striking there from Rogan.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Rogan tries to clinch but Bach moves out of range. No luck with that takedown attempt from Bach. Rogan connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Bach closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Bach prevents Rogan from improving his position. Bach is working for a kimura but Rogan is defending it quite comfortably.
Bach stops Rogan from getting back to his feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Rogan is trying to get back to full guard. Rogan is looking to get back to full guard here but Bach has managed to pass to side control instead. Bach landing shots from mount. Rogan is trying to get to the cage to help him get back to his feet.
Rogan is bucking up trying to escape but Bach cracks him with another couple of good strikes. Rogan is trying to escape the mount but Bach keeps good control and instead manages to take Rogan's back.
And that's the end of the fight! Cole Rogan showed his dominance in that final round. I think Rogan has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
