The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Gigio gets a takedown into half guard.
Silva looking for submissions off his back.
Silva is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Gigio pulls his head out easily.
Silva manages to get to full guard.
Silva looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Silva escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Gigio gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Silva has his foot on Gigio's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Gigio works his way back into a safe position though.

Gigio wanted to stand there but Silva had control of the position.
Silva has his feet on Gigio's thighs here. He's pushed Gigio off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Gigio screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
