Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between som chan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Black Ninja (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ninja has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
chan throws a sloppy head kick and Ninja moves out of range easily.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
chan lands with a kick to the temple. Ninja shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"

chan lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Ninja circles away quickly and effectively.
Ninja gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows chan to score an easy takedown into full guard.
