Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Thomas Moore (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bjaadi Aeger (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Thomas Moore!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bjaadi Aeger!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Tiny Johnson and Frank Dennis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Aeger waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Moore.

Moore throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Aeger was covering up waiting for the punch and Moore finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Aeger keeping moving, preventing Moore from controlling successfully.
Moore postures up in Aeger's guard and throws a big left but Aeger blocks it.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Moore trying to control the position from guard on top but Aeger is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Moore throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Aeger works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Moore would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Moore trying to control the position from guard on top but Aeger is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Moore tries to stand but Aeger is controlling from the bottom.
Aeger preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Moore defending well as Aeger loads up on a big left hand.
Aeger misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
No joy there for Aeger, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Aeger misses with an uppercut. Moore saw that one coming.

Moore gets a takedown into half guard.
Aeger pushes Moore off looking to stand but Moore dives back in and keeps control.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Moore works his way into side control.

Moore tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Moore has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Moore fails to land a wild elbow strike.

Moore wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Aeger, who protects the arm well.
Moore tries to advance to mount but can't.

Moore throwing shots but missing, from side control.
Aeger regains half guard, as Moore was trying to land strikes.
Moore is looking to advance position but Aeger won't allow it.
Moore thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Moore takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.


It looks like Thomas Moore has been cut.
Moore uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Aeger.
A telegraphed right hand from Aeger misses the target.
Moore lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Aeger circles away quickly and effectively.
Aeger throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Bjaadi Aeger seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A slapping leg kick lands for Moore.
Nice takedown defense from Aeger. No joy for Moore on that attempt.
Aeger tries to bum rush Moore with a series of wild strikes but Moore uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Aeger throws a body punch but Moore moves out of range.
Aeger throws a looping overhand right but Moore ducks down to avoid it.
Aeger throws a left and a right that both miss

and Moore counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Aeger's guard now.

Aeger is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Bjaadi Aeger will probably get the nod.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!


Moore paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Aeger throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Moore moves out of range as Aeger strikes.
Aeger swinging wildly here.
Aeger misses with a straight right.

Moore scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Moore wants to control but Aeger is keeping him busy.

Moore escapes and gets back to his feet.
Aeger stalks Moore and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Moore's face. Moore staggers backwards, shaken.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Moore closes this distance looking for a takedown but Aeger circles away.
Moore slips under a jab.
Moore lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Moore shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Aeger sprawls well. Aeger wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Moore gets slowly back to his feet.

Aeger comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Aeger jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Aeger throws out a loose jab but Moore uses good head movement to avoid it.
Good leg kick by Moore there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Aeger misses with a hook. Moore ducked under it nicely.
Aeger looks to score with a jab to the body but Moore is just out of range.
Aeger throws a big shot that misses.
Moore slips a jab from Aeger.
Moore turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Aeger misses with a looping right.
Moore swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Aeger waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Moore.

Moore fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Thomas Moore. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Moore closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Aeger to the mat! Aeger manages to get full guard.
Moore in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Moore has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Moore gets to his feet. Aeger looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Aeger is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Moore loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.

Moore decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.

Aeger throws the left hand but Moore avoids the punch easily.

Moore shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Aeger defends it nicely.

Moore shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Aeger but Aeger pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Moore, as that shot connected.

Aeger fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Moore manages to avoid it.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Aeger throws a nice looking combination but Moore bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Aeger throws an overhand right that lands on Moore's shoulder, as Moore tries to avoid the shot.

Moore is trying hard to land a takedown here. Aeger sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

and Moore counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Aeger!

Aeger really wants to buck Moore off and get back to his feet.
Poor strikes thrown by Moore there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Moore is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Aeger is surviving well by controlling Moore's body position as best he can.

Moore has control of Aeger's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Aeger regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Aeger stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Aeger wants it to stay on the feet.

Aeger avoids a lazy jab quite easily.

The fighters circling - Aeger throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
