Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Alexander Shlemenko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vlad Kovban (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Alexander Shlemenko! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Vlad Kovban! The judges for this bout are Viktor Lagutenko, Konstantin Menshow and Ivan Kurochkin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kovban tries to clinch up but Shlemenko circles away and keeps his distance. Shlemenko keeps the fight on the outside. Shlemenko avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Kovban tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Shlemenko tries to clinch there but Kovban circles away.
Vlad Kovban seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Kovban getting the better of the striking in that exchange. Kovban closes the distance but Shlemenko moves to the side and Shlemenko counters by moving into the clinch. Kovban tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Shlemenko blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. Shlemenko tries to pull guard but Kovban won't allow it.
Kovban's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Shlemenko changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Kovban looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Shlemenko is working to tighten is grip on Kovban's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Kovban has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Shlemenko is really squeezing tight and eventually Kovban passes out! Shlemenko breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
