Holiday comes to the cage accompanied by Tombstone. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Holiday throws a right hand that Tatum ducks under and follows up with a left that Tatum also avoids with ease.
Holiday clinches up with Tatum and pushes him back against the cage.

Tatum breaks the clinch.
Holiday fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Excellent takedown into side control there by Tatum.
Tatum has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
Tatum dodges the punch combination from Holiday.
Holiday connects with a good right hand that stumbles Tatum. Tatum circles away out of range and recomposes himself.

Tatum thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.

Holiday closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Tatum pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Tatum misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
A head kick from Tatum lands but Holiday takes it in his stride.
Holiday moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.

Holiday fails with the takedown
and Tatum makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Holiday really felt that one!

Holiday looks to land a combination. Tatum sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Holiday scores with a takedown into Tatum's guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Tatum striking off his back but it's not causing Holiday any problems.
Tatum pushes Holiday off and scrambles back to his feet.

Holiday throws a left and a right that both miss
and Tatum counters with a single leg into guard. Holiday didn't expect that.
Tatum stands up from Holiday's guard - Tatum perhaps looking for a knockout.
Tatum drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Tatum slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Holiday has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Tatum has passed into side control.
Holiday knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Tatum on the ground.

Holiday tries to bench press Tatum off him but Tatum keeps the position.
Tatum is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Holiday is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Tatum in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Cole Tatum dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Tatum throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Tatum closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Holiday to the mat! Holiday manages to get full guard.
Holiday is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Tatum is controlling him.
Tatum gets to his feet. Holiday looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Holiday looks to land a combination. Tatum sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
John Henry Holiday seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Holiday with a poor takedown
and Tatum counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Holiday!
Tatum looking to secure an arm triangle but Holiday defends it well.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Holiday takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Holiday tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Tatum cracks Holiday with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Tatum takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Holiday is trying to get to the cage to help him get back to his feet.
BOOM! Tatum connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Tatum raining down shots from the mount!
Holiday is flailing around, obviously not happy about being mounted. Tatum locks hold of one of his arms and spins for an armbar. He's got it! Holiday is forced to tap!
