The judges for this bout are Paulo Santos, Edson Gomes and Matheus Silva.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Aldo swinging wildly here.
Grey stuffs the takedown attempt from Aldo. Aldo gets slowly back to his feet.
Horrible takedown by Aldo or perhaps it was just good defense by Grey which made him look bad.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Aldo.
Dorian Grey has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Antonio Aldo.
Grey shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.

Grey wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Aldo, who protects the arm well.

Aldo scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Grey to see if he's OK.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

Grey is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Aldo is controlling him.
Aldo wants to control from the top but Grey keeps moving.
Grey pushes Aldo off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.

and Grey counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Aldo's guard now.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Aldo lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Grey has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Grey and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Grey forces his way into half guard.
Grey uses his free foot to push down on Aldo's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Aldo.
Grey wants to control the pace but Aldo is squirming around nicely.
The referee warns Aldo that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

Grey looking to control but Aldo is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
Aldo prevents Grey from taking his back.
Grey is working to isolate an arm here. It's a telegraphed submission attempt but he's gone for it anyway - and he's got it! Grey extends the arm and Aldo is forced to tap!
