Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Bruno Lombardi, Lou da Vinci and John Roberts.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brown fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
McDoob clinches up against the cage.
McDoob jumps guard and drags Brown to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
McDoob working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Brown.
Brown lands a couple of decent looking shots.
McDoob wants to sweep here but Brown controlling him for the moment.
Brown throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Brown avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Brown trying to stand up but can't free himself from McDoob's guard.
McDoob looking to hit a scissor sweep but Brown is one step ahead there.

Brown wants to stand but McDoob has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
McDoob shoots in for a double leg but Brown sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Brown lands with a straight right. McDoob didn't see that one coming.
McDoob scores a takedown into full mount!
Brown is looking to improve his position but McDoob isn't that keen on the idea.
McDoob is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Brown has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Brown!

Brown tries to stand but McDoob is controlling from the bottom.

McDoob is looking for a triangle but Brown pushes his legs off easily.
McDoob avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Brown won't allow McDoob to sweep him here.
McDoob has a closed guard, preventing Brown from standing up.
McDoob lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Brown!
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
McDoob is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Brown has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Brown!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
McDoob controlling the position.
McDoob throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.
McDoob is trying to control the position from the bottom.
McDoob manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Brown manages to get himself to full guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
McDoob stands and throws Brown's legs to the side, diving into side control.
McDoob lands a decent elbow from side control.
Brown knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for McDoob on the ground.
McDoob stands up and we're back to a striking position.
Brown swings and misses with a hook to the body.
McDoob throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
No luck for McDoob with that takedown attempt.
McDoob shoots in for a takedown but Brown shows good takedown defense.
Mordecai Brown has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mike McDoob.
McDoob on the wrong end of a nice jab.
Brown misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Brown is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
McDoob keeps the fight on the outside.
Brown lands with a straight right. McDoob didn't see that one coming.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Mordecai Brown will probably get the nod.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Brown cracks McDoob with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Brown slips a jab and a cross from McDoob.
Mordecai Brown seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Brown connects with a nice cross there... McDoob is looking wobbly and Brown recognises it - he's rushed in and lands two more brutal shots that send McDoob to the canvas, out cold! A brutal finish to the fight - Brown jumps onto the cage to celebrate with the crowd!
