Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
10 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Luna Soleil!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Franc Janz!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Timothy Bukovac and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Soleil moves out of range as Janz strikes.
Janz looks to land a right hand but Soleil moved out of range.
A big left from Soleil misses.
Soleil lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Soleil.
Janz swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Soleil decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Janz's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Janz wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
Soleil stands up over Janz, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Janz avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Janz has his hands on Soleil's head, controlling the position.
Janz tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Janz is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Soleil loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Soleil pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Janz is keeping the position for now.
Soleil throws a strike but Janz rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Janz advances position into side control!

Soleil gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.
Janz is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.
Soleil is trying to get back to full guard.
Soleil is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Janz's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Janz's back!
Janz grimaces as he takes a shot to the body.
Soleil scores with punches and elbows.
Soleil lands a shot to the head.
Janz rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Soleil stops Janz from getting back to his feet.
Soleil is nestled in close to Janz, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Soleil is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Soleil seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Soleil uses his free foot to push down on Janz's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Janz.
Soleil lands a big shot there that rocks Janz but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Soleil loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Janz scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Soleil land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Soleil stands and salutes the crowd.
