Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Paul Aken and Daniel Blasius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smoker shoots for a double leg takedown but Bonez sprawls well. He's pushed Smoker's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Smoker changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Bonez looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Bonez regains half guard.
Bonez is trying to stand up here but Smoker is controlling him well.
Smoker is looking to stall here but Bonez recovers full guard.
Bonez is looking to stand up but Smoker isn't so interested in that idea.

Bonez moves in looking to clinch but Smoker pushes him off.

and Bonez counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Bonez decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.

Bonez is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Smoker's half guard.
Bonez is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Smoker won't allow Bonez to pass to mount.

Smoker is in a bad position, trying to hold on for dear life but he is really struggling to maintain any sort of control.
Smoker is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Bonez is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

Let's hope that Bonez has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

and Bonez counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Bonez.
Smoker escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Bonez gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Smoker wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Bonez is now in half guard.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Bonez is working to tighten is grip on Smoker's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Smoker has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Bonez is really squeezing tight and eventually Smoker passes out! Bonez breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
