Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kinho Santos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dirk Slamfist (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Santos's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Chapa C - lloraras por mi. The crowd seem to be enjoying Slamfist's choice of entrance music: Eminence Front. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Kinho Santos!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Matheus Silva, Thiago Cunha and Alexandre Firmino.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Santos changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Slamfist tries to avoid it but Santos manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Slamfist to the ground. Slamfist escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Nice sprawl there from Slamfist as Santos shoots in.
Excellent takedown into side control there by Santos.
Santos in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows.
Slamfist tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Santos has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Slamfist wants to control but Santos postures up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Slamfist really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Santos. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Slamfist tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Santos wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Slamfist can't do much from the bottom here.
Santos trying to control the position but Slamfist is working away.
Santos working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Santos is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Slamfist knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Slamfist struggling a bit here.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Slamfist is not content to let Santos control the position.
Santos stands up and beckons Slamfist to his feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Slamfist wants to clinch up but Santos keeps it at a distance.
Slamfist fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Santos, pushing him back against the cage.
Slamfist looking for a takedown.
Santos jumps guard but Slamfist stands there with Santos around his waist. Santos gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kinho Santos. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Slamfist has Santos pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Santos manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Slamfist throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Santoss head.

Santos pulls Slamfist into guard.
Slamfist would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Santos is adopting a defensive guard.

Santos is trying to keep Slamfist in close.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Slamfist trying to control but Santos is working from the bottom.
Slamfist trying to stand up but can't free himself from Santos's guard.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Slamfist closes the distance and clinches.
Santos turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!
Santos has hold of Slamfist's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Slamfist seems comfortable defending it but Santos has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Slamfist is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Slamfist is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Santos couldn't care less - he's delighted!
