Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The judges for this bout are William Gold, Donald Grub and Steven Brown.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Souza fails with the takedown.
Florian tries to clinch up.
Florian darts in and clinches Souza up against the cage.
Florian throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Souza blocks it with crossed arms.
Florian lands an elbow inside.
It looks like Ronaldo Souza has been cut.
Florian connects with a knee to the head.
Souza drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Florian gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Florian leaves Souza with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

A jab from Souza finds it's way through Florian's defenses.
Souza shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Florian napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Florian is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Souza is controlling him well.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Souza is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Florian knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Souza is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Florian has escaped the position, nice work there.

Souza looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Souza maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Florian could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Souza has cracked it and Florian is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Souza!
