Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between sjaak zwart (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Panjapol Kempe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kempe throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.

zwart gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Kempe to score an easy takedown into full guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Kempe throws a strike but zwart rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
zwart is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

zwart shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Kempe napping and manages to drive through into side control!
This has been an exciting period of action!
zwart cracks Kempe with a big right hand but Kempe just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.

A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Kempe stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Kempe wants it to stay on the feet.

zwart changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Kempe looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

zwart shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Kempe's guard.

zwart slips a nice elbow through Kempe's hands, connecting with Kempe's forehead.
zwart seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Kempe does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

zwart shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than zwart was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Kempe's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.

zwart's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
