Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ric Tiger (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Munemitsu Fusejima (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tiger comes to the cage accompanied by Eye of the tiger. Munemitsu Fusejima acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Sosuke Kotani and Kenichi Hosakawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fusejima scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Tiger throws a strike from the bottom that misses.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

and Tiger counters with a nice double leg into side control. Fusejima won't be happy with that.
Tiger postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.

Tiger stands up and we're back to a striking position.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Tiger shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Fusejima pinned against the cage. Fusejima gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Tiger fails in his attempt to clinch.
The fight moves into the clinch position.
Fusejima turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!
Tiger throws a couple of punches but he's in a bad position and they don't land.
Fusejima is looking to take a break and control but Tiger is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Tiger is trying to escape the position but Fusejima is controlling the position.

Tiger is trying to buck Fusejima off.
Fusejima wants to control but Tiger is keeping him busy.
Tiger explodes and escapes back to his feet! Nice escape there!

and Tiger counters with a good low kick that Fusejima was not able to check.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

and Fusejima counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Tiger manages to escape and get back to his feet!

Munemitsu Fusejima showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Ric Tiger is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Tiger tries to close the distance and clinch but Fusejima swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
