Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jose Greco (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rip Off (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jose Greco! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Rip Off! The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Hirohito Nitta and Yukihiro Yamamoto.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Off misses with a series of wild punches.
Greco decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Off strikes from the bottom but Greco passes into mount!
Greco manages to capitalize on a mistake by Off to take his back! Off manages to reverse the position and now he's in Greco's guard. Nice work there by Off.
Off avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Off has eaten all the pies! Greco controlling the position. Off throws a big right hand that misses. Greco on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Greco tries to get out of the position. Off throwing strikes from guard but Greco blocks nicely. Off postures up.
Greco utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Off missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Greco bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Off can't do much from the bottom here. Off tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Greco wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Off prevents Greco from improving position. Greco is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Off has escaped the position, nice work there. Greco working away. Off manages to get back to half guard. Off actively working from the bottom here. Off looks gassed! Off is looking for a sweep. Greco is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Greco feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Greco's corner is telling him to maintain position. Off has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Off looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Greco wants to pass the guard but Off is keeping the position. Greco works a leg free and moves into half guard. Greco stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being. Off throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Greco shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Greco looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead. Greco content just to control the position here.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Off is desperately trying to improve his position but Greco has a good base and remains in mount. Greco looking to control and managing it successfully. The referee warns Off that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Greco scoring with strikes but Off is staying in there. Off is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Off is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Off tries to lock up and control but Greco gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Greco tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Off tries to reverse the position but Greco maintains control. Off in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head. Off throwing punches from his back but nothing is landing. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jose Greco dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Off throws a hook to the side of Greco's head but Greco sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Greco gets a takedown into half guard. Greco lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Off is trying to get back to full guard. Greco is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount! Greco stands up from the dominant position. He obviously fancies his chances standing. Greco shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Off punching from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. Off won't allow Greco to pass to mount. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Off manages to get to full guard.
Greco controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Off wants to stand and escape but Greco is having none of it. Off isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Greco stacks Off on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Greco! Greco just content to control the position. Greco tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Off is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Greco's leg. He's managed it. Nice work. Off looking for submissions off his back. Greco content to control rather than advance. Off looking for submissions off his back.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Greco controlling the action here. Greco seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Off for as long as he can get away with. Off throws a strike from the bottom that misses.
Greco is taking a breather. Off says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Off is trying to stand.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Greco uses his free foot to push down on Off's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Off.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Off can't escape the position.
Greco is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Off can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Greco tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Greco prevents Off from getting the reversal. Off tries to improve his position but instead Greco has taken his back! Off just trying to survive but Greco is wriggling into a better position, looking to finish. Off tries to escape the position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jose Greco dominated that second round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!
Off looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Off tries for a takedown but Greco circles away easily and Greco counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Off's guard now. Greco drops back looking for a leg! Off is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Off manages to kick Greco off! Greco jumps back into Off's guard. Off has an active guard here but Greco has managed to pass into half guard.

Both fighters are breathing heavily. Greco perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
That's one minute gone in the round. Greco is nestled in close to Off, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Off is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Off actively working from the bottom here. Greco is figuring out what he wants to do next. Greco passes the guard and advances to mount!
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Greco controlling from mount. Off is trying to reverse the position but instead Greco has taken his back - oops! The referee is taking a good look at Off as he is on the wrong end of some big shots from Greco!

Greco will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. So, who will make the next big move? In this position it could be crucial.
Off breaks Greco's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Greco pulls Off in to control the position. Off looking to pass the guard. Off working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Greco pushes Off off and gets back to his feet.
Jose Greco is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. A left and a right from Off both land. Nice combination. Greco rushes Off and presses him up against the cage. Greco drags the fight down to the ground.
Greco looking for a sweep. Not yet Greco, not yet. Off throws a strike but Greco rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Off has an active guard here but Greco has managed to pass into half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Off looking for submissions off his back. Greco looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Off is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Greco tries to pass to full mount but Off defends it. Off looking for submissions off his back.
And that's the end of the fight! Jose Greco showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Greco, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
