PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Dave Boston (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Georges St Pierre (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). St Pierre comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Hypnogaja- The March kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Georges St Pierre is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Dave Boston!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Georges St Pierre!
The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Steve Smith and Elvis Blanc.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
St Pierre tries for a takedown but Boston sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Boston looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
St Pierre shoots for a double leg takedown but Boston sprawls well. He's pushed St Pierre's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
St Pierre throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Boston's waist but Boston gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing St Pierre off to one side.
Dave Boston has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Georges St Pierre.
Boston is looking to clinch but St Pierre is avoiding it.
