Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Greg LaFleche (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brian Dawkins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Greg LaFleche has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Greg LaFleche seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
11 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Greg LaFleche! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Brian Dawkins! The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Hirohito Nitta and Yukihiro Shimada.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Good shot there by Dawkins.
It looks like Greg LaFleche has been cut. Dawkins takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. LaFleche tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Dawkins swivels and escapes. Dawkins lands a left and a right that send LaFleche crashing to the mat, dazed. Dawkins thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
LaFleche is rocked! LaFleche shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh LaFleche is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Dawkins can do anything to dispel that myth. LaFleche trying to control from half guard but Dawkins is working away. LaFleche not landing any meaningful shots this time. LaFleche seems to have got his legs back now. LaFleche seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Dawkins does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. LaFleche thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. LaFleche controlling the action here. LaFleche is keen to just control but Dawkins is a slippery customer.
That's one minute gone in the round. LaFleche is working for a submission of some sort.
LaFleche seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Dawkins does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. LaFleche blocks a jab. A jab from Dawkins misses. Brian Dawkins is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. LaFleche fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Dawkins looks to land a right hand but LaFleche moved out of range.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. LaFleche fails with a takedown attempt from distance. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Greg LaFleche. That's going to take a lot out of him. LaFleche shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Dawkins is trying to defend but LaFleche finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Dawkins gets back to full guard.
LaFleche throws and elbow that misses. Dawkins uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in LaFleche's guard. Nice move by Dawkins! LaFleche working a defensive guard but Dawkins passes into half guard.
Dawkins blocks the strikes from LaFleche.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. LaFleche tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Dawkins tries to stand but his arm is trapped. LaFleche is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Dawkins's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Dawkins's back! Dawkins trying to control the hands but LaFleche breaks the grip. LaFleche connects with a big shot to the side of Dawkins's head.
LaFleche throwing wild punches that miss their target. Dawkins looking to stop the rear naked choke attempt by controlling the hands. LaFleche has his opponent's back and is working for the choke. Dawkins prevents LaFleche from getting a body triangle.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Dawkins is defending well here and trying to improve his position.
LaFleche throwing lazy shots from the back mount that aren't doing any damage. Dawkins is trying to escape under a series of strikes and manages to escape from LaFleche 's hooks. Dawkins takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position. Dawkins is looking to get to half guard. LaFleche looking to finish with strikes here!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Brian Dawkins dominated that round. The cut man is working on Greg LaFleche's cut. That's time! Back to the action!
Dawkins waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract LaFleche. LaFleche shoots in but Dawkins avoids the takedown attempt easily. LaFleche closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. LaFleche trying to control the position but Dawkins is working away. LaFleche tries to land with some ground and pound but misses. LaFleche working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.
Dawkins is trying to get back to half guard. LaFleche wants to control but Dawkins is keeping him busy.
That's one minute gone in the round. LaFleche has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand. Dawkins misses with a few strikes there.
LaFleche looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. LaFleche thows a huge punch but Dawkins dodges it nicely.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. LaFleche throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. LaFleche is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Dawkins has managed to free his arm - good work. Dawkins slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Dawkins preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Dawkins controls LaFleche momentarily but LaFleche frees himself. LaFleche trying to control the position from guard on top but Dawkins is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. LaFleche postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. A left and a right from Dawkins both land. Nice combination. Dawkins waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract LaFleche.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Dawkins swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Nice uppercut there from Dawkins.
LaFleche is rocked! It's a brutal combination of punches from Dawkins! LaFleche is backing up but he can't get away as Dawkins lands with one final shot to the jaw that drops LaFleche and ends the fight. Great knockout.
