Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Kamil Tomcik (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tsuyoshi Nakayama (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nakayama has chosen The Vapors - Turning Japanese as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Kamil Tomcik!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Tsuyoshi Nakayama!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Hirohito Nitta.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nakayama throws a hook but Tomcik blocks it.
Tsuyoshi Nakayama seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Nakayama throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Tomcik on the side of the head.
Nakayama throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Nakayama tries to clinch but Tomcik moves out of range.
Tomcik takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Good shot there by Nakayama.
Nakayama misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Nakayama swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Tomcik.
Nakayama connects with a good right hand that stumbles Tomcik. Tomcik circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Nakayama throws a body punch but Tomcik moves out of range.

Tomcik changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Nakayama looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Tomcik slows the pace down.
Nakayama tries to buck Tomcik off but Tomcik is having none of it.
Tomcik staying calm.

You can see the frustration on Nakayama's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Nakayama gets back to half guard.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Tomcik controlling the action here.
Nakayama is trying is best to control the position here.

Tomcik wants to lay and pray for a moment but Nakayama keeps working.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Tomcik throwing shots but Nakayama is blocking nicely.
Tomcik prevents Nakayama from improving his position.
Nakayama wants to control but Tomcik is keeping busy.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Nakayama is refusing to be controlled, as Tomcik sits in half guard.
Tomcik thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Nakayama's head.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Nakayama leaves Tomcik with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Nakayama displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Tomcik.
Nakayama's corner calls for a 1-2. Nakayama obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Nakayama stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Nakayama connects with a good right hand that stumbles Tomcik. Tomcik circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Tomcik fails with a takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kamil Tomcik. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Tomcik fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Tomcik takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
No joy there for Nakayama, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Tomcik misses with a takedown attempt - Nakayama sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Tomcik fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Nakayama avoids it really well and circles away.
Tomcik is breathing heavily.
Nakayama goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Nakayama scores with a jab to the body.
Nakayama moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Nakayama lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Nakayama fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Tomcik on the side of the head.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Tomcik is defended easily by Nakayama.
Nakayama throws a combination. Tomcik tries to block but a couple of punches get through.


Tomcik is rocked!
Tomcik seems to be squinting his left eye. Perhaps he got a poke in that previous exchange. Nakayama shows no mercy and swarms him with a barage of strikes! Tomcik is backing up but Nakayama catches him with a final right hook that drops him! Tomcik covers up and the referee steps in to end the fight! Nakayama Jumps to his feet and flashes his guns to the crowd. Oh yeah, baby! How'd you like them apples?!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 6:04 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Tsuyoshi Nakayama!
