Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tim Kolo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Don hoocks (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tim Kolo! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Don hoocks! The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Tiny Johnson and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kolo dives in and grabs hoocks's left leg, looking for a takedown. hoocks pushes down on Kolo's head and hops out. Jeez, both these guys look absolutely knackered already, that's not a good sign! Kolo closes the distance and clinches up with hoocks, looking for a takedown. Kolo pushes hoocks against the cage but hoocks circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Kolo shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with hoocks but hoocks pushes him off and we're back to square one. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tim Kolo. That's going to take a lot out of him. hoocks swings away with a leg kick that misses. hoocks tries for a takedown but Kolo circles away easily and Kolo counters with a takedown into side control. hoocks is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Kolo asserts his dominance and retains side control. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Kolo thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. hoocks is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kolo taking a break here but hoocks is having none of it and regains half guard. Kolo seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but hoocks does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Kolo is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and hoocks defends it well. Kolo seems to be working for a kimura but hoocks defends the submission attempt.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Kolo seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but hoocks does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Well, if Kolo is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Kolo is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! hoocks is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
