Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jax Teller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Benny Caleites (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Teller kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Rise Against - Savior. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Paul Tew and Chris Edwards.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Teller shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Teller was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Teller takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Teller stands up from mount. Strange move.
Caleites looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Caleites!
Teller is looking to clinch.
Caleites fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Teller manages to avoid it.
Caleites will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Caleites takes a swing at Teller's ribcage but misses.
Caleites circles away from the clinch attempt.
Teller slips a jab and a cross from Caleites.
Caleites throws a body punch but Teller moves out of range.
Teller shoots in for a double leg but Caleites sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Teller takes one on the chin but seems OK.
A looping hook to the body misses from Caleites. Teller does a little dance to reset his feet.

Caleites attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.
Teller doesn't manage to clinch there - Caleites circles away.
Caleites takes a swing at Teller's ribcage but misses.
Benny Caleites is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Teller is looking to clinch but Caleites is avoiding it.
Caleites throws a jab when Teller was well out of range.
Caleites misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Teller.
Caleites throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Teller shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Caleites sprawls well. Caleites wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Teller gets slowly back to his feet.
Benny Caleites seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Teller shoots in but Caleites avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Caleites ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Teller moves away.

Teller wants to free his trapped foot but Caleites is holding on for dear life with his legs.

Teller stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Caleites to get to his feet.
Teller looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Caleites is fending him off so far but Teller persists. Nope, Caleites circles away and we're back to standing.
Teller shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Caleites sprawls well. Caleites wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Teller gets slowly back to his feet.
Teller is breathing heavily.
Caleites bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
Caleites misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Caleites misses with a body shot.
Teller takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Caleites scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Caleites throws a body punch but Teller moves out of range.
Caleites takes a swing at Teller's ribcage but misses.
Teller is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Teller throws a combination that misses
and Caleites counters with a straight right hand.
Teller wants to clinch but Caleites slips to the side
and Caleites counters with a nice low kick that buckles Teller's knee momentarily.
Caleites swings for the body but Teller moves out of range.
Caleites throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Caleites lands a nice looking body kick.
Caleites throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Teller counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Teller.
Teller tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Caleites has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Teller gets control of Caleites's arms and successfully pulls guard. Teller will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
Teller wants to sweep here but Caleites controlling him for the moment.
Caleites must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Teller has a closed guard, preventing Caleites from standing up.
Teller escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Caleites gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jax Teller dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Caleites scores with a shot to the body.
Caleites throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Caleites misses with a jab to the body
and Teller counters with a body kick.
Teller tries to close the distance and clinch up but Caleites swats him away and circles back towards the center.
A lazy body kick from Caleites
and Teller makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Caleites really felt that one!
Teller misses with a jab, cross combination.
Teller decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Teller maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Caleites could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Teller has cracked it and Caleites is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Teller!
