The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice jab there from Burnett.
Wheeler fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Burnett stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Burnett scores with a leg kick.
Wheeler misses with a head kick.
Burnett scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.

Burnett lands a head kick. Wheeler smiles back at him and beckons him forward.

Burnett plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
Burnett lands a big head kick that sends Wheeler tumbling to the mat! Burnett takes a step backwards and waves Wheeler back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Wheeler is rocked!

Burnett stuffs the takedown attempt from Wheeler. Wheeler gets slowly back to his feet.

Nick Burnett is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Burnett rushes Wheeler with punches - Wheeler moves straight backwards instead of circling and gets clipped by the second strike... and the third... and the fourth! Oh, Wheeler goes down! Burnett follows up with more strikes and the ref steps in to end the bout!
