Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Vitali Emeliananko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Daniel Lindsey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lindsey has chosen Californication - RHCP as his entrance music. This should be a great matchup!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Vitali Emeliananko!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Daniel Lindsey!
The judges for this bout are William Gold, Chris Edwards and Donald Grub.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lindsey missing with a left hand there. Emeliananko was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Emeliananko throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Lindsey's waist but Lindsey gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Emeliananko off to one side.
Lindsey lands with a nice body kick.
Emeliananko looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Lindsey lands a high kick!
Lindsey lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Emeliananko avoids the head kick by Lindsey.
A slapping leg kick lands for Lindsey.
Lindsey goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Lindsey misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Lindsey tries to clinch but Emeliananko is having none of it.
Lindsey pulls out of a head kick attempt.
No luck for Emeliananko with that takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Vitali Emeliananko. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Lindsey keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
A slow jab from Lindsey misses its intended target.
Lindsey throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Emeliananko shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Lindsey pinned against the cage. Lindsey gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Emeliananko lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Lindsey circles away quickly and effectively.

Emeliananko scores a takedown into full mount!
Emeliananko is breathing heavily.
Lindsey working to try and regain half guard.
Emeliananko looking to control but Lindsey is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
Emeliananko lands a heavy elbow.
Emeliananko prevents Lindsey from getting the reversal.

Lindsey has given up his back, trying to stand up. Not clever.
Lindsey tries to break free.

Emeliananko looking for the RNC.
Lindsey manages to reverse the position and now he's in Emeliananko's guard. Nice work there by Lindsey.
Lindsey tries to free his leg and advance position but Emeliananko is retaining full guard.

Emeliananko working for submissions but it's allowed Lindsey to get to half guard.

Lindsey gets to his feet - back to striking we go!

Emeliananko looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Lindsey!

Emeliananko jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Lindsey is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Lindsey and Emeliananko has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
Lindsey manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!

Lindsey decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet.
Lindsey throws a head kick that half lands.
Lindsey misses the jab.
Emeliananko takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Lindsey comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.

Emeliananko has his takedown stuffed
and Emeliananko takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

Lindsey tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Lindsey misses with a head kick.

Lindsey feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Lindsey stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Emeliananko swivels though and keeps the full guard.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Lindsey trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.

Lindsey drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Emeliananko manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Lindsey has Emeliananko in his guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Lindsey keeping moving, preventing Emeliananko from controlling successfully.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Daniel Lindsey dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Emeliananko is trying to maintain the position but Lindsey is very close to passing his half guard.
Emeliananko tries to get to full guard but Lindsey has control of the leg.

Lindsey is looking for a kimura but Emeliananko is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Lindsey to get the leverage.

Lindsey is working for a kimura but Emeliananko is defending it quite comfortably.
Lindsey is breathing heavily.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Lindsey throws a head kick but Emeliananko moves out of range.

and Emeliananko counters with a takedown into side control.
Lindsey is looking to regain half guard here but Emeliananko keeps moving and retains side control.

Emeliananko goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Lindsey rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Emeliananko's guard! Nice work there by Lindsey!
Lindsey won't allow Emeliananko to sweep him here.

Emeliananko is looking for a triangle but Lindsey pushes his legs off easily.
Lindsey wanted to stand there but Emeliananko had control of the position.
Emeliananko lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Lindsey!

Emeliananko swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Lindsey is now in Emeliananko's guard. A big mistake from Emeliananko there, giving up the dominant position!

Emeliananko is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Lindsey defends well.

Lindsey drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Lindsey jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Lindsey decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Lindsey tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Emeliananko moves away from the strike by Lindsey.

Emeliananko takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

Lindsey pushes Emeliananko up against the cage in a clinch.

Lindsey pulls guard effortlessly.
Emeliananko stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Lindsey swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Emeliananko looking to sit in guard and control but Lindsey gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Emeliananko looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Lindsey has picked Emeliananko up and slammed him! Emeliananko can't keep hold of the triangle and Lindsey manages to pass to side control!

Lindsey stands up.

Lindsey throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Emeliananko was covering up waiting for the punch and Lindsey finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Lindsey must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Emeliananko tries to land a sweep but no joy.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Daniel Lindsey showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

The fighters are battling for position here. Lindsey manages to regain full guard. Nice work.

Lindsey has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Emeliananko doesn't defend quickly enough and Lindsey has managed to lock this one up! Can Emeliananko escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Lindsey on a fantastic submission victory.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:40 of round 3, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Daniel Lindsey!
