Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Dave Carlson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mattias Ramh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Dave Carlson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Mattias Ramh! The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Paul Aken and Radbod Blank.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ramh misses with a looping right. Ramh shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Carlson napping and manages to drive through into side control! Ramh looks up at the clock and then as Carlson takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Ramh smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Ramh working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter. Carlson is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Ramh is controlling him well. Carlson tries to get back to half guard but can't. Ramh trying to control the action but Carlson is working from the bottom. Carlson tries to bench press Ramh off him but Ramh keeps the position.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Ramh gets a takedown into half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Carlson looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Carlson actively working from the bottom here. Carlson is breathing heavily. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Ramh in particular looking to stall. Ramh slips a nice elbow through Carlson's hands, connecting with Carlson's forehead. Ramh stalling. Ramh is looking to take a break and control but Carlson is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Carlson actively working from the bottom here. Carlson is looking for a sweep. Ramh is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Ramh is figuring out what he wants to do next. Carlson is not content to let Ramh control the position. Ramh really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Carlson. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Ramh stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Carlson to get to his feet. Ramh tries to clinch up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Carlson on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Ramh. Ramh obviously looking to wear him down.
Ramh closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Ramh wants to lay and pray for a moment but Carlson keeps working. Ramh lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face. Ramh decides to stand up, so the ref orders Carlson to his feet. Carlson avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Ramh drives through with a takedown into guard. Ramh preventing the sweep. Carlson is adopting a defensive guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Ramh trying to control but Carlson is working from the bottom. Carlson looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Carlson throws his legs up looking for a submission but Ramh uses it to pass to side control.
Carlson tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Ramh wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Ramh decides to stand back up. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Mattias Ramh dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Carlson is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Ramh's half guard. Carlson prevents Ramh from standing back up.
Carlson passes the guard and advances to mount! Ramh manages to regain half guard. Good work. Carlson lands strikes from half guard. Carlson missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Carlson wants to take a breather but Ramh is having none of it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Carlson thows a huge punch but Ramh dodges it nicely.
Ramh is trying to maintain the position but Carlson is very close to passing his half guard. Ramh is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Ramh tries to clinch but Carlson is having none of it. Carlson darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Ramh is trying to stand up here but Carlson is controlling him well.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ramh has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Carlson is working away from the top position though. Ramh wants to get back to full guard. Ramh is trying to control but can't.
Ramh won't allow Carlson to pass to mount. Ramh is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Ramh preventing any damage for now, controlling his opponent's head.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Carlson scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Carlson is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Ramh knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Carlson in side control, throwing shots but Ramh defends. Carlson decides to take the fight back to the feet. Ramh moves into the clinch successfully.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Ramh can't find room to land a body shot as Carlson controls the action.
Ramh tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Carlson just stands there and leans against the cage. Carlson looking for a takedown. Ramh jumps guard but Carlson stands there with Ramh around his waist. Ramh gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Ramh breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Carlson doesn't succeed with the takedown and Ramh counters with a takedown into side control. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Ramh trying to control the action but Carlson is working from the bottom. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Dave Carlson dominated that second round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!
Carlson misses with a takedown attempt and Ramh counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Carlson has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Ramh can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Ramh keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Carlson's head. Carlson throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Carlson had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Ramh defends it easily. Ramh working some strikes from top position. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Carlson wants to sweep but no luck. Carlson looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Ramh passes into side control.
Carlson is looking for a sweep. Ramh taking a breather here. Ramh lands a nice forearm strike. Carlson tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Ramh presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount! Carlson wants to improve position but instead he's given up his back.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Ramh looking to break Carlson's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Carlson remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Ramh will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke! Carlson is trying to break free.
Carlson turns into Ramh and is now in his guard.
Carlson loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Ramh looking to control.
Carlson tries to free his leg and advance position but Ramh is retaining full guard. Carlson postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Ramh is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Carlson, into his guard. Carlson is trying to keep Ramh in close.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ramh won't allow Carlson to sweep him here. Carlson is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Ramh is aware though and is defending well. Carlson is looking for a triangle here but Ramh uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
Ramh moves into full mount! Ramh working for a submission but Carlson is keeping him at bay.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Ramh working away from the top, dropping strikes. Ramh raining down shots from the mount! Ramh trying to control but he's not successful this time. Ramh scoring with strikes but Carlson is staying in there. Carlson regains half guard. Ramh sitting and controlling from the half guard. Ramh wants to stand up but Carlson is controlling the position.
And that's the end of the fight! Mattias Ramh comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Ramh has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
