Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between John Dickenson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jon Kish (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, John Dickenson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jon Kish! The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Nard Betker and Daniel Blasius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kish throws a combination. Dickenson tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
It looks like John Dickenson has been cut. Dickenson drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Kish avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Dickenson trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Dickenson trying to control the position from guard on top but Kish is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Dickenson accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Dickenson scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Dickenson might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Kish looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Kish not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Kish manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Dickenson manages to get himself to full guard.

That's one minute gone in the round. Dickenson connects with a couple of short punches. Dickenson stands and steps away. Kish gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Dickenson gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Kish drags the fight down to the ground.
Dickenson really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Dickenson pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Kish is keeping the position for now. Kish bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Dickenson's guard. Kish throwing strikes but missing. Kish is looking to work some ground and pound but Dickenson has wrist control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kish tries to free his leg and advance position but Dickenson is retaining full guard. Kish controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Dickenson throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Dickenson is breathing heavily. Dickenson trying to keep a closed guard but Kish is proving a slippery customer.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kish postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Dickenson keeping full guard, as Kish tries to pass. Kish trying to control but Dickenson is working from the bottom. Dickenson controls Kish momentarily but Kish frees himself. Kish has gone for a leg lock! Dickenson slips out almost immediately though and dives into Kish's guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Dickenson is pushing down on Kish's leg trying to pass to half guard. Kish is fighting to maintain full guard but Dickenson has managed to sneak the leg through. Dickenson looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Kish kicks Dickenson off and gets back to his feet. Dickenson shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Kish tries to circle away but Dickenson has him pinned against the cage. Dickenson has clasped his hands together around Kish's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done. Kish tries to get back to half guard but can't. Kish struggling a bit here. Dickenson tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Kish dodges the ground and pound from Dickenson. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dickenson goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Kish rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Dickenson's guard! Nice work there by Kish! Dickenson being controlled here, momentarily. Dickenson trying to keep a closed guard but Kish is proving a slippery customer.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Kish trying to control but Dickenson is working from the bottom. Dickenson wants to sweep here but Kish controlling him for the moment. Kish stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Dickenson swivels though and keeps the full guard. Dickenson keeping moving, preventing Kish from controlling successfully.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Dickenson is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Kish doesn't succeed with the takedown and Dickenson decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Kish's guard. John Dickenson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jon Kish. Dickenson is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Kish is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Kish has escaped and now he's on top! Dickenson on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Dickenson tries to get out of the position. Kish stays in close to Dickenson's body and controls the position.

Dickenson looks for a takedown but Kish sprawls well. Kish throws a sloppy head kick and Dickenson moves out of range easily. Nice takedown defense from Kish. No joy for Dickenson on that attempt. Dickenson avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Dickenson gets a takedown into half guard. John Dickenson overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Dickenson seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Kish does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Dickenson thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Dickenson cracks Kish with a solid left hand. Kish keeping moving, preventing Dickenson from controlling successfully.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Kish trying to strike off his back.
Dickenson is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Kish is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Kish has escaped and now he's on top! Dickenson looking to hit a scissor sweep but Kish is one step ahead there.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Dickenson looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Kish puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard. Kish looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Dickenson moves into full guard.
Dickenson is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Kish trying to control but Dickenson is working from the bottom. John Dickenson is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Kish preventing the sweep. Kish pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Dickenson is keeping the position for now. Dickenson is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Kish is aware though and is defending well. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Kish trying to control but Dickenson is working from the bottom. Kish trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to John Dickenson. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Dickenson, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent.
