Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Paul Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jesus Kristur (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kristur has chosen Jesus Christ Superstar as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Jesus Kristur acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Paul Jones! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Jesus Kristur! The judges for this bout are Emerson Jorge, Mauricio Rocha and Leandro Rodrigues.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kristur misses with a double jab.
Jones fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Kristur misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Jones shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Kristur sprawls well. Kristur wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Jones gets slowly back to his feet. Jones shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Jones trying to control but Kristur is having none of it. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Jones raining down shots from the mount! Kristur keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Jones has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Kristur blocking the ground and pound.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jones goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Kristur turns into him and now he's in Jones's guard.
Kristur must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Kristur wants to get up but he can't break Jones's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Jones controls Kristur momentarily but Kristur frees himself.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Jones working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Kristur doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Jones is tightening it up a little... Kristur has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Kristur reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Kristur taps out! nice BJJ there by Jones!
